Vacheron Constantin updated the Overseas line by including a new tapered bracelet, a calfskin strap instead of alligator and a new no tool change system slider.
Significantly thinner for the Chronograph and Dual Time. The Chronograph used to be 13.7mm thick; now it's 12.37mm. The Dual Time used to be 12.8mm; now it's 12mm. The regular date version went down from 11mm to 10.69mm.
I'm a big fan of both. Can't go wrong with either one for the time and date. The dual time I would go with the new design all day because it's much thinner!
I actually like the substantial feel of non-tapering bracelet (personally own a blue 3 hander VC OS). It has pleasant width and gives significant wrist presence. Though I appreciate that VC is making steps in the direction of improvement of their product instead of just sitting and selling "old" stuff. Thanks for letting know yhe news. Cheers
I have a 2015 overseas and my bracelet actually feels chunky in comparison to some of my other divers… I hope they made the bracelet thinner. Also the creases on bezel makes the watch a dirt magnet, I use a q tip and clean the bezel everytime I pull the watch out to wear. I got a rubber strap with my watch good video
