Vacuum forming Torso with 500mm x 500mm vacuum former And Heat Box

This was a proof of concept for a dual vacuum cleaner based former
each vacuum cleaner has its own separate vacuum area to as I've found if you just plug 2 vacuums in to a normal former they fight against each other and you don't get the benefit of the extra power the torso was something I quickly threw together for the test and was a little fragile for the job should have back filled it with some plaster to help the rigidity luckily it sprang back after the vacuum was turned off vacuum was strong and even across the 500mm x 500mm bed
The slot together heat box has angled sides to reflect the heat towards the plastic the heater is a 3 bar patio heater with a max output of 2000w it worked well and the heat was even across the plastic
I used 1mm sheet its all I had that would fit the frame but looking at the results I would say it would form 2mm petg without any issues
I was assisted by my ever tolerant wife who filmed and switched one of the vacuum cleaners on bit of a juggling act
