I find when sealing raw meat, you need to vacuum longer. You remove the air from the bag, but the meat itself still has air in it. This is what makes it seem like the bag lost its seal. Most solid items get 20 seconds vacuum. Raw meat get from 30 seconds to a minute before sealing.
Thank you for your feedback! "Contamination" in this instance is referring to any substance in the seal area that would prefer the bag from properly sealing.
