Here's an in-depth breakdown of the Pipamoka by Wacaco. One of the things I love about this brewer, which some coffee nerds may not appreciate, is you can skip the scale! The components themselves measure the coffee, and measure the water used to produce almost the same exact coffee every time - perfect for travel. I’ve had my Pipamoka for 6 months, and standing the extracted inner section on the upturned lid, mind blown 🤯 Thanks for the product demo.

Great review of the Pipamoka. I bought one used two years ago and have been brewing with it daily and it works flawlessly. Always consistent and delicious coffee. My Timemore Nano3 grinder fits perfectly inside the brew chamber for an ultra compact system for travel.

That sounds like a fantastic combo. Does it fit with the handle or does it need to be removed?

I'm thinking of buying the Pipamoka, but I'm actually torn between the Pipamoka and the Nanopresso. I have owned a minipresso but had one or two small issues. Which one would you pick?
@BrodieVissers
@BrodieVissers 4 года назад
Daniel De Kock honestly I’ve never used the nanopresso, so I can’t tell you transparently lol, but it depends whether you like a longer coffee or more espresso style. That would be my deciding factor :)

Can I put the filter basket first and then the hot water?
@BrodieVissers

It's worth a try! but often better to pre-infuse by letting the coffee float through the water

Cool video! Very clear & helpful! I like the coffee that i make with this device. However, i need a little help to refine the process please (anyone): First I always have extra water in top chamber, second, after i grind beans, there's always too much coffee powder to fit in basket. Anyone else experience these? I use a scale to measure coffee (16g) as well as water (260-270g); also i hace used the scoop & measurement line inside cup. No matter waht i do by following proper instructions, these 2 problems always seem to happen. Please any suggestions because i truly luv the taste of the brewed coffee from this device. Thank u!

Hey Paul, great questions. First off, I would say these things can sometimes happen, but can also be caused by the size of grind you're using. And then I would suggest twisting a bit slower to allow the vacuum power to work on drawing the coffee down. Any more questions, I suggest you join the FB group: "Wacaco - Minipresso, Nanopresso, Picopresso, Pipamoka..." Many helpful Wacaco owners on there!
