I found a Bissell Powerforce Bagless 6579-3 in the trash yesterday! The cord was cut I had it sense yesterday so I put a cord on it today and it works perfectly! The issue was that it was clogged in every spot
The common issue with vac motors is with the fan having a blade pop out of were its supposed to be so replacing the fan will fix it by the sound of it if it was the bearings you would hear a dry bearing sound
Dang that's a lot of vacuums! I see a Bissell 2191U. Love all the vacuums! Diamond Edition just needs a nozzle or you can use the parts that you have at your dad's house that are from a Kirby and the hose will get it to turn on and find a new power cord. It also has a 2-speed switch by the power button. Mainly the hose and nozzle will get it to turn on once you get the cord for it. They are easy to put on.
DAM, that old Hoover... But, all seriousness, I love that old Dial-A-Matic, and even that Power Drive behind it, also that Bravo II, where are you finding these?
I got these from my local vac shop. He was getting rid of all this so he offered them to me at no cost. I'll surely be back to either purchase more machines, or get parts for one of these, so I'll be sure to at least pay him in repeat business, since he wouldn't take any money for these.
Ey that Kenmore Progressive is one of my favorite bagless machines! I have the slightly upgraded blue one with the dirt sensor. Really nice machines but tough to get parts for.
Nice Kenmore looks exactly like my Panasonic Performance Plus hey i was gonna ask you about finding a 14" Dual Edge Cleaning brushroll for my Performance Plus Model MC-V7395 I can't seem to find anywhere the exact brushroll or a brushroll that can get retrofitted
That hoover air steerable is the exact same one I found recently and the motor was sparking bad! The air steerable in your video sounded even worse than the one I found though which is interesting. I wonder if that one is sparking too.
Hit me up if you need a motor for that Hoover Air. I scrapped one a while back that had a good motor, and yours sounds like the blower is now in pieces. Also, I do believe I have a motor for that Panasonic if that's what it needs.
Someone in my grandparents neighborhood threw a perfectly working 7 amp bravo out with spare bags and all the attachments. She picked it up and I grew up using it. Great vac!
My wind tunnel air steerable is completely missing the brush roll, brush motor and drive belt. It was free and all the parts will cost $100 or so. Suction motor sounds good and has good suction been wanting to toss it but haven’t. My wind tunnel self propelled is a little newer looking than this one. When I got it all it needed was a bag and both belts and works flawlessly and sits properly(doesn’t lean backwards)
Can you fix a vacuum that turns on as far as the lights and stuff but the motor doesn't turn on (it doesn't make any noise)? Or would it cost too much?
