Amazing guide as ever!! Your videos are a treasure for me because I started playing this week and I'm a real noob haha bandit camps are yet too difficult for me 🤣 I should find a way to easily kill them without too much risk, as you do with your bow and as I saw maged do with ranged spells. I'm a Thursar so I don't think there can be such things in my build 🤔
You can definitely fit archery in a Thursar Footie build and use the longbow just like this oggie is doing, but either way you are gonna have to practice in order to not break a sweat killing bandits melee. Become the parry god little noob
@@von__db yes but I have 117 max strength and I think the minimum for use the longbow is 120 right? And I would also ask you guys if the range of a bow impact the total damage or if it is only dictated by your skills and the bow is only an instrument (like based sorely on your strength/weakspot etc..)
@@ElderSwamp No you can definitely make longbows with less STR requirement that are still effective. More range = More damage. All you need to be able to do damage with a longbow is archery 100 and a longbow crafted towards your STR. You can for sure find some on the broker
Kinda sad watching people zerg random noob blueberries in bandit camps. In a game that struggles retaining new players, its no wonder people don't stick around with shitters like these all over. You seem like a tough one tho so I hope you don't give up, stick to it and become strong enough to whoop their asses. Your vids are entertaining even as a veteran, keep it up :D. One small tip on the first gank: Stamina management is crucial in melee foot fighting. When you run with your longbow drawn, you are destroying your stamina bar. On top of that, bows don't do much damage to plate armor, so I it really isn't worth using your bow on anything that is not a mage, a mount, or a footie with 10 hp and you are sure you are going to finish him in 1-2 shots max. If you ever get to MK area and you get bullied by people (or you have any question about the game) message BLACKIRIS ingame or von at the official discord, I'll be right there to remind them why they are only good for hunting new players.
@@ThePuppetMaster33 technically you are right but I'm not here to play with words or be a dictionary, sending 2 bears and 2 players on a blueberry that is in arthropod is damn well the same unwinnable fight as running over a veteran with 10 people. Then again, companions LUL
You level up skills on a character by reading a book or doing said skill. Example - if you want to level up fishing you fish, if you want to level up crafting weapons you craft weapons. Then you have clade points which are like perks for your character that you get when you level up. Then after your clade is maxed you unlock mastery points (This system was just added) that further enhance your character.
