Kumaravadivel Natarajan (born 12 September 1960), known professionally as Vadivelu, is an Indian actor, comedian and playback singer. Since the 1990s, he has performed in supporting and lead roles as a comedy actor in Tamil cinema. He was also seen with actor Goundamani and Senthil in some movies. He gained widespread acclaim in Kollywood in the 2000s. His first film as a lead actor, Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikesi (2006), achieved commercial and critical success. His career declined in 2010s, with contreversies and received a ban from future films, with Mersal (2017) being his last film
