Glenn Deleon nah i dont think its jealousy or envy. i didnt dislike the video but its pretty obvious even though his playing is perfect those are not his drum making those sounds. actually you cant hear his drums at all. what youre hearing is just the song and the fact that him playing it perfectly aligned with the song gives the illusion that his drums are just that perfect. some people in this case around 300 can see through that

trblackhawk33 If you genuinely think that that isn't really him playing the drums and this video simply has a track over it, you might notice that the majority of his drums have studio recording mics set over them and have been modulated/adjusted to be recorded in good and equal sound quality. A musician of his skill level obviously knows how to record and edit his own playing to upload a smooth sounding video rather than making headphone wearers' ears bleed by just blasting sound into the video that was picked up from his camera. It makes me sad to think that there is someone out there that really believes that this isn't his playing. On top of that, they left a demeaning comment on the video claiming that this musician simply misled his audience. Come on, man.

didnt really leavev a demeaning comment but obviously i know the sound production and editing and how he probably is great at both because if you watch my videos im just kind of learning everything BUT if you listen to just the original track there is not 1 single difference. not 1 note different. not 1 note the slightest off timed. drums sound EXACTLY like the original track. im not saying he cant play the song perfectly im just saying ive seen it done before and to me this sounds like the original track over a video. Come on, man.

trblackhawk33 That's really not a good argument to make against a musician. Yes, it's perfectly timed... But that's probably because he's been drumming most of his life and he's probably spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours, perfecting it. Most musicians WILL practice until they can nail it perfectly. That's why you get entire orchestra's who can perfectly play pieces of music in perfect time with each other. As for the note difference, he will have purposefully tuned his drum skins so it matched the sound he was after. Seeing as this guy does it live, it's obvious that he doesn't just put a video of him playing to it. Perhaps the video isn't genuinely him playing, as per many musicians do... That I couldn't say... But it IS him playing it.

Grigeral i never said or meant that he isnt playing it. what i meant was the sound that youre hearing is no way his drums. I have no doubt that he can play the song perfectly and in time but all i was saying is that youre not hearing his drums. if it was his drums you would also be hearing the original in the background a little bit even if it is perfectly timed. I never meant it as hes not playing it because clearly if he has the movements down he doesnt have to fake it he can obviously play it perfect but what i was getting at is that i just dont believe that the drums you are hearing are his drums.
