Excellent review, Michael. I'm deciding between this Vagkri and the Hessaire MC37M Portable Evaporative Cooler which is larger but costs $100 more. Thank you for the review.
Yes, the cooling pads are removable. Unscrew the back panel to take them out and rinse clean. Dry and assemble back in place before reconnecting to a power source.
Thanks for the review. I just received mines tonight from Amazon as well. I do feel that it gets cool. But do you have to add cold water in addition to the ice packs to keep the cold water circulation for the cool air to come out?
Thanks for this as I just ordered one from Amazon on Prime Day today. And since I am new to swamp coolers like this, pardon the stupid questions but after the water runs out, does it automatically shut off? I sort of want to keep it on for my pets when I’m away from the home and don’t know how long I’ll be away so last question, how many hours does a full maximum fill of water last?
With it full I can get 6-8 hrs out of it. I have not tried running it constantly until the water is completely gone. I know it’s not good to run the water pump if there is no water for it to pump. I would recommend just keeping it hooked up to a hose if you are able to.
