Please be aware that the start view at 2:29 is deceiving. Notice the 3 beginners trying to work their way down. This is because the start of Lost Boy is more of a blue slope than a green, and also the end heading to the 7 Lift is pretty steep for beginners. When it comes to Vail, just because it says it's green does not mean it's easy as pie.
I’m a beginner/slow skier and found the short runs around the Sourdough Express Lift to be great and not too steep. They are pretty short runs though. Lost Boy was a bit intimidating but fun after getting through it a couple of times.
