You are a gentle giant, these vlogs are so relaxing. You are seeing more of Colorado than I this year, and I live here! Yes, the unwritten limit is "9 Over"! Super safe and fun travels to the 2 OF U!
Yes, a must see. Red Rocks Amphitheater landscape is breath taking. Literally. Hike into the theater takes your breath away. Colorado native here, have enjoyed many concerts and Easter morning sunrise services at this venue. Add destination to your itinerary?
Coors sold long ago even though the physical part of them is still there. Miller bought into them and then a European conglomerate bought out Millers share. Now it's Molson Coors Beverage Company.
I see you keep falling more in love with Colorado there Adam, when you moving??? LOL That is another gorgeous place there, can definitely make one feel at home around that area. Have to say, almost didn't recognize Lance in that video without there being a machine next to him :D lol. Glad your having fun while traveling. Continued safe travels.
shopping is ok unless i go into a perfume or scented soap store ..makes my sinus go crazy. .learning skiing is a lot easier than snowboarding..$50.00 ?? Jeez..thats why all the celebs go there. next time bring a gold pan for all the streams and rivers you walk along. looks like a nice place thanks for the video !
You parked at the one pay lot during the summer at Vail. If you would have paid attention to signage, the free town of Vail parking structure is one drive past where you went hahaha
Hi Adam, I’ve messaged you a couple of times before, concerning other people on utube you might like to check out, (Boltr, twasted engineering) anyway, I think you may be amazed by ‘Allen Millyard’ a UK motorcycle diy enthusiast, who’s a genius at hand building his unique machines. His channel is on utube, enjoy! (You will)
@@AbomAdventures Traveling I-70 is a real adventure over the pass anymore. It's only getting worse. I dread driving to Denver anymore. It doesn't even matter what day or time of day. I wouldn't even try on a holiday weekend anymore. Damn that reminds me I have to go pick the wife up at DIA in a couple weeks. UGH.
You were doing good until you decided to hit the I-70 tourist sewer pipe. Colorado is wonderful overall, but the the I-70 mountain corridor is nothing but a commercialized western Denver area suburb. I've lived here all my life and avoid the I-70 sewer every chance I get, it isn't Colorado, it's just high priced china stocked shops & eating joints for those who can afford them. If you like Hugh crowds & traffic jambs it's the place to go in Colorado.
Some people actually enjoy the areas and towns near the I-70 corridor. How would you and other viewers appreciate me getting on my videos and talking about Colorado in the way you just did??
@@AbomAdventures Adam & Abby, I've enjoyed your videos very much and think the world of both of you based on what I've seen on your channels. With that said: My allowing myself to post my personal feelings about the I-70 corridor from Denver to the western edge of the Vail-Beaver Creek-Eagle river valley was rude & inappropriate for me to interject into your adventures. I apologize to the two of you & your viewers for doing so! I hope you have a great time on the rest of your trip!! Happy Trails & keep that Cummins Humming!!!!!!!
$50? Cheap...wait until you go to Chicago or Jersey...as for speeds? Just don't speed in Ohio...The stories are true...you have an out of state plate, and are doing 5MPH over? Forget it...you'll get pulled over even if an Ohio Driver is doing 15MPH over...they love that out of state money. During Michigan/OSU Games, cops have been known to pull people over for doing 1 and 2 mph over the speed limit...because "they can". Vail is way, way, way too expensive for what it really is...
Like how you parked in Solaris, the only paid parking in vail during the summer, literally 5 other free parking lots you could have gone to that would have been empty. Plus you went to the worst restaurant in Vail. This isn't a good representation of Vail at all! Us locals get pissed off at tourists that make Vail look bad in their videos or give a poor representation of what it is actually like here.
You are free to film your own version of Vail and share it with the world. I shared our experience and if you didn’t like it, Oh well! We all enjoyed the restaurant and had a fantastic lunch. It was my first time there so not like I know all of the “locals” places to go eat. $50 for parking is a joke! Maybe notify folks on the sign that it’s paid parking instead of hooking them in for the surprise. Too bad your such a poor sport about my vid, I clearly showed how beautiful it is there and the nice public walking trail.
@@AbomAdventures Yes lol you are very correct $50 is a total joke for parking and should be considered highway robbery, actually the town is working on getting that price down. I'm actually very happy that you enjoyed your time in Vail and even happier that you wore a mask whilst being in town! Next time you are in town I would recommend going to Vendettas (best pizza in the valley) or if you are feeling a bit more pricey try Yama sushi (Best sushi in Vail). I would also recommend going over to the next town over which is Avon or Beaver Creek and getting way better food for actually affordable prices. Next time you go for a walk/hike I would recommend something like Booth Lake Trail or hike up Berry Picker in Lionshead. Hope we see you in Vail again! Sorry for the first comment!
