New Year's Day 2019 at Vail Ski Resort in Colorado. It's a bright, beautiful sunny day on the slopes. Where is everyone? There are short lines at the lifts and long uninterrupted runs. It's a great way to start the New Year!

Awe excellent. You guys ski like normal people. And I really like the perspective of video from behind another riskier instead of on a stick filming yourself. And thanks for showing me around this resort that ive skied twice in 40 years and drove past 100x. Far out. Im watching on my stationary bike.....thank you.....

Just beautiful---your skiing--and, of course----Vail! Am fascinated, because I was taught to ski in the 1960's----and you are one of the first skiers I've seen in awhile, who must have been taught in the same style (and time?) that I was, and, yes, it took many years and practice for me to achieve that 'look' (long, stiff skis....unsupportive boots)! But I still love the grace and ease of having learned to ski, using legs and arms as you do----and how natural it feels when your body is working 'with' you and not against you! LOL!! Though I'm from NYC, I've skied at Vail many times and watching your video and all my favorite runs is so nostalgic---I think I know quite a few of the trails you skied. (Am only through 1.4 of the video.) It is so sad to me, today, to watch so many almost intermediate level skiers STILL 'flailing' body and arms about---without having yet learned how much easier and enjoyable skiing can be with just a few basic changes. Yes, it WAS harder---and did take a lot longer---to learn the technique of the times I learned in--but it's been so well-worth the lessons, the practice and the fun of feeling yourself improve step by step. You eventually achieve a level of confidence that I rarely see in intermediate skiers today, who, although able to make turns through 'swishing' their bodies about---may never learn the exhilaration of feeling 'at one' with your body. Carving is such a magical way to capture the sensation of flying! I am enjoying your video SO much.........and can almost feel myself on skis, swooping down these runs with you! Thanks for giving me such a treat!.

I watched this video and it is pretty good but I would appreciate more attention to the trail signs so we know exactly where you are at at all times. If your are a beginner or somewhat of a novice watching this, don't think you are going to rule the place and zip down anywhere when you arrive. Vail is much steeper than it looks on youtube videos. Stay on the "Front Side" catwalks which are marked by hyphenated green lines on a Vail map . If you are a beginner, don't even think about going to the "Back Bowls" and "Blue Sky Basin" which are on this video. Snow plowing does not work on black diamond back bowl slopes. These people on the video make it look easy because they have lots of experience.
