It's opening day at Vail Ski Resort for the 2023-2024 ski season! The morning starts quietly as skiers take their place in the queue and get ready for a big day on the slopes. Gondola One is open to Mid-Vail and the Mountain Top Express is open to the summit. There are a couple of great runs leading back down to Mid-Vail and more laps on the Mountain Top Express. The runs are wide, the coverage is great, and the firm corduroy is great for carving an edge. The sun is shining on a cloudless bluebird day, the mountain scenery is gorgeous, and the weather is perfect. Great conditions for opening day at Vail.
