Vail VR has been in the VR landscape for about 7 years. Vail has now been released on the official Meta Quest storefront for Quest 2/3/Pro and Steam PCVR.
I include a side by side graphics comparison as well
I go over the history of this game to give context to why I remain skeptical after trying out the game. Finding genuine interaction in the VR community for Vail is 50/50. As it seem everyone is getting paid left and right to talk about the game. There is nothing wrong with content creators securing the bag, but don't glaze the game front to back. These are my overall thoughts on Vail and the VR FPS landscape.

This is the third time I reupload this video lmao. First no 1440p option, then forgot to normalize all music audio levels, and hopefully this video isn't completely dead. I was yapping a little more than usual and the comparison begins at 8:45 If you like the video consider subscribing for more!

Thanks for the honest review, and thank you for not glazing. For me it wasn't worth 30 bucks. Didn't know about the NFT background, really soured it. I only got it because my dad refuses to play anything but T rated and under. Weapon interaction was my main issue.

Yep, glazing is very prominent with this title. I don't hate on CC for securing the bag tho. Any games that mention or affiliate themselves with NFTs are immediately unappealing. W Dad

was looking for a non-paid shill review and found it, thanks. wanted to know if it had changed at all for the better since when I played it a year ago( on the alpha build they SAID would stay free but ofc they went back on their word ), but it seems that aexlab will continue to chase the unattainable e-sports "golden standard" for a niche market that nobody takes seriously in the first place. gonna keep playing VR shooters that have mod support and wacky game modes instead of this trite sellout shit. vid liked, keep up the good work

really nice video :D bought vail for like 1 euro at an insane discount, so can't complain at that price, it's the only VR multiplayer shooter i own right now. but the asking price is insanely high, so if i didn't own vail i think i'd probably just look for some other VR game. also wtf, i didn't know about the NFTs, that sucks

honestly I would say its something I can jump on and jump off if I wanted to play right now personally I feel like the gun handling and the recoil matches tabor maybe even better. Its fun but some things need work and maybe a rework of the quick match. Other than that I think its a solid game I think it just released at a horrible time.

best VR shooter is Rec Room! hahah. Perfomance getting worse each year, It was laggy on quest one 4 years ago AND it's laggy on quest 3 and not working at all on quest one in 2024 But for real, I like Zero caliber and Hyper dash

There’s more than enough space for more VR shooters , I bought Vail VR & got a refund , just quick re-spawning + it didn’t feel fluid enough , just a very basic shooter & offers little ( quest 3 )

I only buy Quest first games. These PCVR traitors should not get our money. They basically divided VR for nothing. PCVR and PSVR2 are not true VR, never will.
