Good call on resting up and on getting the CT scan, head injuries are not any joke. I hit my head badly and looking back should have taken it easier the 48 hours or so afterwards, I got post concussion syndrome quite bad and it was not a fun time. started having panic attacks and had minor visual hallucinations seeing shapes in the dark while driving at night, brain fog
These ups and downs of Downhill racing are hard to deal with, track looks so hard and sliding like ice. God decision to rest, we are all with you anyway. ✌🏻🤟🏻🤙🏻
Glad you're ok! Head injuries are not to be messed with. I've had them and lost my sense of smell and taste because of them. Stay safe BK and see you at dyfi again soon 💪

Mate I hope your doing better!! Thanks for bringing us some coverage. World Cups come round and here in Australia we long for your videos. Better than paying $35 a month to a streaming service to watch the broadcast. I hope the UCI a is giving teams and riders a cut from the profits they make selling the broadcast. Well, if there were an advert for wearing a helmet then that was it! Incredible how the most innocent looking spill can cause so much damage and really highlights the risks you guys take to do these races. You already know all the stories about concussion so I don't need to add to that, so just take care and fuss over Ladaman! :)
Edbull needed to shave that stache and add the speed suit and he's surely got the aerodynamics to tame the black snake. So bummed to see you go down, almost looked like your helmet came off. Glad you're ok though. Next one!

So sorry BK! What a nightmare and SO frustrating for you I'm sure. I've only been concussed once (hockey stick to the face) and I rested one day before trying to play - I lasted 5 mins! I felt fine but I could tell I was a little slow reading what was happening and then a little slow reacting which would be catastrophic for you. Sorry mate!
Def best call Bernie. Black snake bites again, rest and recoup. Watching it back you went down soooooo quick no time to brace. You won’t be the last this weekend I’m sure on that track. Shows the value of a top helmet too, could have been much worse. You’ll be back and we will all be watching 👍
Sometimes you have to quit a ride so you can ride another day, this is unfortunately one of those. Hopefully no repercussions and you are fit and well and ready for the next one. Respect!
Oh boy that sucks! 😕 But most importantly: I hope there will be no further consequences from that head knock and you'll be back swinging off it for the next race! ....another 'gutted for you' but definitely the right call, just take it easy and give your head / brain time to recover, it's no joke coming back from concussion and it can't be rushed.

I echo the last comment, your content is really bloody good, shame about the fall, from the vid it didnt look too bad, but obviously couldnt see that you clobbered your head. No point ignoring concussion, if you cant stand up, thats the big clue to give it a rest for a few days.
