On our tour of the Dolomites, we visited the Val Gardena / Seiser Alm ski resort.
We started skiing in Val di Fassa, skied to Val Garden where we spent the whole day and at the end of the day we returned to Val di Fassa again.
The Val Gardena / Seiser Alm ski resort is quite diverse and is suitable for both families with children and those looking for more sporting challenges. World Cup races are also held there.
The Dolomiti Val Gardena / Seiser Alm ski resort is part of the Dolomiti Superski, a world-renowned network of 12 ski areas in the Dolomites that can be accessed using just one ski pass. From Selva Val Gardena, a picturesque village in the Val Gardena Dolomites, you can directly reach the Sella Ronda, a circular path around the Sella massif.
Val Gardena is home to the longest ski run in South Tyrol, "La Longia", which is more than 10 km long and stretches from the Seceda hill to Ortisei. The Seiser Alm area is a good destination for beginners and families whose children are taking their first 'steps' on skis.
We didn't manage to ski on all the pistes in Val Gardena this time, so we will definitely come back and see what we missed.
