Mandy I just found you recently and I’ve been binge watching every since. Thank you for the wonderful recipes that include things most of us have in our pantries already. I’ve been making this exact sweet dirt for 20 years and I tend to switch it up based on the holiday/event it’s being made for. Try using different flavors of pudding and Oreos (lemon ones in summer are great). Thanks again!!!!

If you want, just make cake mix cookie varieties. There doesn't have to be a theme- sweet, soft, & delicious are the only requirements. Great job, girl.

I'm not really into Valentine's Day either, I believe in appreciating and showing the love all year round :) I love my kitchenaid, but I understand the intimidation...I feel the same way about my Instant Pot. lol! My stepmother introduced me to the ginger ale and sherbet drink on our first New Years Eve together, and we had it every year. I’ve carried on that tradition on NYE and birthdays. I have a mixer. I have all the attachments. I can make spaghetti, chop burger, make pate. I just have to find all the attachments!!! We moved and I don't know where everything for my mixer is yet!! It's been 6 YEARS NOW!!!!! 🤣🤣 I LOVE my mixer!!!! it makes things so much easier when you can't lift your arms like you used to, so using a mixer if faster and easier. Once you get used to it, you will love yours, too!! You just have to USE it!!!! But you can use it not just for mixing cake or cookie mixes. If you have all the attachments, I really encourage you to try using it as much as possible. You will be happy you did!!!! GO FOR IT!!!! YOU GOT THIS!!!! 💝💝 Your husband is so funny!!!! I'm surprised to see you have BASKIN ROBBINS SHERBET!!!!!!!! We used to have Baskin Robbins here in Michigan, but they are no more!!! And we USED to have Dunkin' Donuts, too!!! Now THEY are all gone. Okay, first, the only four things I will drink are soda water ("sparkling") and I own a SodaStream so I can just make it at home, hot or iced tea (mostly iced), coffee (the life of the gods) and water. That's it. So I total get your hubby for only liking sparking water ... it's the fizz man. THE FIZZ! Second, you bake JUST FINE! Just like I could cook just fine. :) Third, I adore you both, and thank you for the great comedy and outtakes. :)

(& No, I Didn’t rhyme on purpose, I get that all the time(my daughter’s name Mandy , people (a Lott) I say yeh, with a husband named Randy You did good, your snacks looked good, I always make some of my chocolate chip 👩🍳 cookies & the kids got to put the 3-4 m&m on top of some of them & they loved to make brownies 1 got to put ingredients in the bowl & 1 got to stir everything together You can practice with your Kitchen -Aid , you can practice, like using your whisk attachment to make scrambled eggs, and the one you had on to practice mixing flour and starting on 1 & working your way up.. you won’t have any trouble baking, because you do a great job making meals & explaining how, giving ingredient lists w/ measurements is second nature to you, it’s the exact same thing, you’ll do great at it ! I made a party punch for my parents 50th wedding anniversary a while back. It called for a 1/2 gallon of raspberry sherbet, and a two liter bottle of 7-up or Sprite. It reminded me of the sherbet drink you made. Some recipes also call for 64 oz of Juicy Juice (Fruit Punch Flavor) with it also, but I just used sherbet and 7-up. It makes a pretty punch for Valentines Day and you can use fresh raspberries to top off each drink glass.
I love your video’s, your husband’s face when he taste’s something new seriously make me laugh out loud…. I often have watch my favorite Vlog’s on my phone or iPad with my headphones in while my husband and daughter are watching something they enjoy on TV, so when I start laughing they always look at me like I’m crazy 😂🤣😂. Anyways, long time Subbie but I don’t comment often…. Where did you get your “wire rack”? I have several but hate them all, I’ve been looking for a new one that serves its purpose but haven’t been able to find one…. I’m loving your website by the way! I can’t count the number of times I’ve written one of your recipes on my meal plan and only notate the Vlog# (which half of the time I forget or write down or note it incorrectly) to print/write down the recipe but forget, then end up trying to find the recipe while grocery shopping…. Cheese Steak Sloppy Joe’s and Chicken Thigh’s with Garlic Cream sauce have both become family favorites so I think I’ve memorized the recipes but nonetheless, I specifically remember rewatching your videos while shopping…. I can’t wait for you to add more recipes, it’s so convenient to search for a recipes I didn’t write down completely or print instead of searching for your vlog to get the recipe and/or link while trying to buy groceries! Great job❤️ Keep up the great work, I love watching your videos ❤️
I like to use a pairing knife to make the heart strawberries…I just find it easier to handle! My kids are going to go crazy doe the Oreo cups…can’t wait to make!

Making sausage balls in your mixer is the EASIEST!!!! And only takes a couple of minutes to mix The ingredients together. Also putting cooked chicken breast in the mixer and turning it on shreds it up in seconds. You HAVE to try both of these tips. You will thank me.😉

I’m making the parfait. I dont have food coloring but I have maraschino cherries which I love!! I’m using the liquid for coloring and leaving it swirled. I just taste tested the pudding mix and oh man!!! Can’t wait for the end result! Thank you for the recipe
Love,love this kind of videos. I will love to teach you how to bake and use your wonderful machine. I got mine many years ago and still working like a charm. I started making cakes for the holiday season, I made so much money that I got a new stove and my kitchenaid. I got it refurbished for $174.00 best investment ever. I make breads,cookies,cinnamon roll dough. They even have attachments to do everything. Check it out. I have a separate bowl and paddle to make my own body butter creams. I love Valentine’s Day! Well more so as a kid, making the Valentine’s boxes for school, making the valentines for your class mates and passing them out and seeing what you got. I’d always get so excited to see what the cute boy gave me, not realizing he gave everyone in the class the same exact thing, haha! And then my mom would always get me and my siblings some really cute present every year too. We’d make heart shape sugar cookies and decorate them. Btw, I absolutely love Steve! You’re one lucky woman! He very lucky to have you too..but we all already knew that! ❤️😊
That float drink is what every baby or wedding shower drink from my childhood. They'd use different sorbets and either Sprite or Ginger Ale. So many memories came flooding in! They were all delicious. Nowadays, various things are served and I miss the easy, tasty floats. (Although, one had a coffee punch with vanilla ice cream and stuff and it was amazing!)

I have a kitchen aid mixer. It died after 10 years and I immediately bought another one. You will LOVE that mixer once you get used to it. I couldn't live without mine! I used it for so many things. All your recipes look great!

I found Carla through you awhile ago, I love her fun personality and watching her shop with me's! There are some really great things you can do in the kitchen aid, think anything you might want to mix: shredding hot cooked chicken, making homemade whipped cream, of course cake/cookie/brownie mixes
You have the Professional Series Kitchen Aid mixer, I use our Kitchen a lot during Christmas !! Don't be afraid, once you get used to it, you'll wonder why you waited so long to use it !! The other model mixer is called the Artisan Series !!

Girl I can't even make a dump cake! I baked it for about 2 hours and it kinda got dried out. So your not the only one that can't do desserts. Your 3 for 3 more than I am. My Son don't eat cake either. He's kinda like me and not crazy about sweets. I do get where I want them now and then especially when you make things with strawberries. The 1st one looked orange on my phone but looked pink when you added more coloring You and Carla M are my two favorite Utubers. Do you know when Gracie's b-day is? How did you ever keep her from jumping on the counters? Mine stay at the other end if I'm cooking and I didn't teach them that. They just know to stay away from the food. My mom made deserts all the time. She even had her carrot cake on the menu at the restaurant she worked at. I tried making it but I had the wrong size round pans an it over flowed in the oven. I even have a picture to prove it. 🙄 O.k. now to go to your other page. Those looked so good!!! Miss the batter chatters also.
The unnamed drink reminds me of punch for a bridal or baby shower without having to make an entire punch bowl. So what name would evoke that vibe? Quick sherbet punch? Small batch sherbet punch? Not sure, but it looks great! Dana
I’m the same way, Mandy. I’ve always been scared of baking especially when it comes to making layer cakes. I’ll see a layer cake and think oh, that’s looks delicious. If a make it I get so discouraged bc it never looks as pretty as the picture. But if I keep trying perhaps I’ll get better at baking. I’m scared of my kitchaid mixer too! I use mine but not nearly enough.
I have found replacing the oil for butter in any cake mix cookies gives it a much better overall flavor and mouth feel. If your cake mix box is the bigger size just add some flour. I love making the red velvet/white chocolate chip combo for Christmas. Very festive looking.
That Kitchenaid mixer might just change your life! I use the dough hook to make bread. I have a grinder attachment to grind meat. It does a great job. We make sausage with venison and pork combination. I love being able to make cookie dough, which will ruin a hand mixer because the motor can't handle it.
How about Velvet Love for your cookies? All three desserts are great. Growing up we would put ice cream or sherbet in a punch bowl and add ginger ale. I still do it from time to time. It’s so yummy! Great job on your ‘somthin sweet’ video!! You two are so cute together always!

Mandy I've made red velvet cookies, so good. Kids will love them with m+m 's in them. I made moon pie red velvet cookies. Make your cookies put creme cheese frosting between them and enjoy. My granddaughter and son really liked these. I used store bought icing.
I stumbled across you recently and I’ve seen a few of your videos and love them. What a lovely family you are and your husband and son are very lucky to have you cooking your delicious meals.
