They will never touch RE5 ever again after reputation it got over the years...the whole point of remaking something is when it's an iocnic beloved game or a fracnhise...not when it's universally loathed one...RE5 or RE6 both will never get remade...don't even dream about it...there is a decent hype for Code Veronica though, so i can see it happening at some point, but that';s just about it as far as remakes/remasters are concerned...
