@nikarachan honestly, I think there may be 2 different versions of NYX "Hot Pink" eyeshadow. The matte one sucks and is chalky while the satin-finish one is nice and pigmented, but they are both called "Hot Pink". I have the satin one!
jen! you apply eyelashes so perfectly. i have monolids too, but whenever i do it it just looks funny and lopsided, but you make it look sooo good! could you do a tutorial and talk us through how to actually apply false lashes?
I prefer this look than bubz valentine tutorial's shimmering eyes. Smokey looks much sexier that you want to show your bf than a pile of shimmering that could reflect oilness. Good job Jen! You never fail me with your tutorial looks! :)
@kesunga It really depends on the person's eye shape and how "deep" the monolid hangs over the lash line, but I generally do prefer using a thicker line for monolidders. Not necessarily so thick that it shows when their eyes are open, but enough so that it peeks out at the corners and shows when they are blinking. I tend to not do as thick an eyeliner line when applying makeup on those with double lids. ;)
@SakuraxHALCYON Shiseido and Shu Uemura lash curlers are both really reliable and WAY better than cheaper curlers. For mascaras that are easily accessible, Covergirl Lash Exact Waterproof mascara and Shiseido Lasting Lift mascara holds curl well.
@tevy78 She actually does have monolids, but because she uses false eyelashes it creates a double eyelid for her. In her tutorials where she doesn't use any fake eyelashes you can see her natural eye shape better. Also in this video it looks different before and after she applies false eyelashes as well (aside from the obvious eyelash effect, her eyes look way bigger and it's because the eyelash band pushes her skin up to create the double eyelid)
@rachel1991ist I THINK I remember seeing it on sephora.com, but I know for sure cherry culture has it~ it's actually called the eyeko skinny eyeliner pen now though it's the same product!
Youuuu are so gorgeous, Jen! Probably my favorite guru of all the time! I was just wondering, since I'm a monolid, I've had a lot of trouble curling lashes and finding a really good mascara. What eyelash curler and mascara do you use?
