Sway, remember that grieving is different for everyone......there is no such thing as - ok, I've grieved long enough - for some it lasts a lifetime and that's ok. You do you. Happy Love Day Sway! I really liked your home tour. Such pretty Valentine's decor. So sorry for the loss of your cat Maggie.😢 I know how it feels. On Dec. 1st my cat Kitty had to be put down. She had lung cancer. My kids and I rescued her from a snowstorm 3 yrs ago. We think of her every day. Thank goodness I still have my 6 yr. old cat Chloe that's been with me since she was a baby. I cried with you on this... My pup died last October at only 4 years old, and it broke us. It is like loosing a child. We are ready now to hear the sound of paws in the house again though, & will be getting another pup, but love all animals. Congrats & can't wait to see your new kitty babies! 🐱😸

Aw Sway, Im so happy and excited for you. I was hoping this was that big news! Definitely dont feel bad about crying cause you miss her. I lost all 3 of my furbabies around the same time a couple years ago. I still, to this day, cry over missing them. I now have 6 cats. All were saved from being strays. Even though they are 6 new kitties, they still dont replace my old 3. Their personalities are all different, and you find yourself loving them in different ways. Maggie will be happy to know you are helping two kitties who very much need a home. I cant wait to see pics and learn about them! Just be careful about your breakables. I took in a brother and sister litter mates and they still, as almost 4 year olds, chase each other around the house. So be ready for that. But i hope yhey smother you with couch cuddles and love. You deserve it and those babies deserve a loving home with you! Happy Blated Valentine's Day!

Congratulations! Its been a couple of years since i lost my Shadow and I'm not ready. Shadow was no cat I've ever had so its difficult. I do have one cat but she is not cuddly. We began to feed a stray which helps. Losing your kitty was probably more traumatic for you because of it, my Shadow lived 19 yrs and at the time she wasnt well that I asked her to make it until her birthday. Which she did and passed away in my arms but not before she placed her paw on my cheek. I told her it was okay, that she could go and she did. She had a vet appt that day to talk about maybe letting her go in a humane way but she wanted to do it her way. Sorry for this. I'm not making this easy but it just comes out.

So happy you are getting 2 kitties! I have 3 myself. Multiple cats are always better than one (especially when they are very young) because they always have a friend to keep them occupied. And it is so much fun to watch them play together and groom each other.
