I think intense is SO much better than the original and so long lasting. I sprayed someone my scarf 3 days ago and I can still smell it 3 feet away. The vanilla is definitely the top note for my nose after drying and so delicious
I came here for a fragrance review but maan, I had to re-listen some parts of the video because I was just admiring your beautiful skin! Wow, just wow! You look stunning! Back to the fragrance-my thoughts exactly! Intense they claimed and intense it is! Loved it! My fave from this line is Coral Fantasy.

Great review! I think I'll try to get my hands on the intense based on your review. I'm over 40 and I wear Born in Roma but it's never been my favorite. I do love a good Jasmine note. Can't wait to try it.
The intense probably needs to sit for a few months so the vanilla can macerate. That what happened to me with the new black Opium Le Parfum. It’s been getting sweeter the longer I’ve had it 🤷🏻♀️
Very true about Vanilla in fragrances. This scent projects already and Im here for it. It will only get better with time. Glad to hear your black opium le parfum is getting better.

I am wondering if you layer the original with the intense version what will happen. I ordered the original from the Valentino site and for no fee I asked for a gift box and engraving on the cap. The box was big, filled with red excelsior and had a metallic flap--great presentation. Maybe not a bag full of samples (did get it perfume and a makeup sample), but it really made a fabulous gift. Highly recommend it if you are gifting a Valentino scent.
Girl! which do u think is better….valentino Donna born in Roma or the intense and which is more head turning and I’m in middle school so which is better for me ❤

Santa.... my fragrance came today and yes ma'am it is intense...I haven't tried it on skin yet....later this week I will do a wear test...but I admit I like it....
I had a decant of DBIR and off first impression loved it! 2nd impression...where did it go?! Did not last at all on me. See now when you said jasmine and how it was more mature that the original... I'm sold!
I have the original. I like it don't love it but my hubby likes it on me. I'm definitely interested in the intense I'm in the over 40 club so this one seems like it will be more my vibe.
I will definitely be on the lookout for this one! Love the original so much, and excited to see how they’ve amped up those more mature notes in the intense! I’ll have to be on it because I swear I still have yet to try Burberry Her Elixir, every time I try or happen to be in the store the only sample they have a big bottle on display with nothing in it to sample! 😂

I’m loving the intense and it’s the perfect going out perfume and it’s best suited for fall & winter. It’s like the original’s mysterious older sister. The original Born In Roma still smells mature & grown and doesn’t smell “young”. It doesn’t smell “old” either but it’s a perfume that can be worn by all different age groups. I think the original is more versatile and can be worn for any season. The bourbon vanilla adds some sweetness, but it’s not sugary sweet, and it smells very girly and fun, but also grown up, sophisticated and like an it girl
Ok I’m late to the game so hoping you can respond. Do you think this would work year round. I get all four seasons and I’m hoping to grab a scent that will work in warmer weather.

I love DBIR the original but I’m older then you and the intense version might be my new jam gonna pick her up this weekend it’s sounds meant to be….. On another note (pun intended) it’s funny how I wait for your opinion to buy my fragrances lol
There’s a top note I couldn’t stand on the intense. Not sure exactly what note it is. Kind of smelled like horses for a while. The dry down is lovely though. I agree when I compare it with the original after it smells childish lol.
I personally was wearing heavy scents at 26 so it depends on what the individual person likes. Always sample it first when on the fence about a fragrance.
