Hey Lexi, u looked beautiful in all of the colors, especially the last color. I purchased the first color, 108A. The last color looked very pretty, and I wanted to order it, but I do not look good in any pink color. I’ve never owned a Valentino lipstick. I’m very happy that u can buy refills. I’m going a little crazy w/lipsticks lately, since I wore chapstick for almost 2 years due to the pandemic. Thank u for doing these swatch videos. I’ve been able to buy some really beautiful colors thanks to watching these types of videos. U might want to add that if you’ve never bought Valentino, u get $15 off your first order.

Hi Lexi! Thank you for featuring these new lipsticks (I don’t think they are available in Canada yet). All four shades are flattering on you. On my iPad screen, I see very little difference between the swatches of the first (108) and the last (123R) - although, like you, the latter is the one I prefer on your lips. The photos on the Sephora website for the shade living nude show a color that’s so different from the actual color. I want to buy the color in the Sephora photos but not what the color actually is. I’m glad I watched this video and I didn’t order it! I would have been very disappointed when it arrived a completely different color from what I was expecting based off the photos that are shown for it!! I’m not sure if that makes sense but thank you!
@@LexiJong Watching your video reminded me that I meant to get a Givenchy sheer velvet in 18 nude fume but I can’t find it anywhere. Searching around for it I see that a lot of the shades are sold out everywhere. Why, it’s their new formula that was released not that long ago. I hope they aren’t discontinued already. I’m so confused and sad that I can’t find shade 18!! Please let me know if you know where to find it! Thanks again!!
Good morning Lexi! Your makeup is beautiful today and I love the your earrings. Your favorite shade is also mine! Fair, cool skin. Thank you for commenting on the "hold through out a meal!" That is a relatively important point when it comes to lip products. Lastly, do you have any of the Hermes mattes and if so, how do they compare with the Valentino? FYI for North Texas and beyond. Neiman Marcus, Dallas NorthPark (a large beauty floor) has just installed a new customized Valentino area. Last fall, I noticed that Bloomingdales in Adventura Mall (South Florida) had also installed a very visible branded area. I guess Valentino is rolling out very brand focused/identifiable areas within large department stores.
Oh wow! That Valentino area sounds amazing! I haven't seen anything like that here yet. I have a couple of the Hermes mattes but I prefer the Valentino. The Hermes is thinner but they get this weird bumpy texture on the bullet and I find I don't reach for them much. I also think the Valentino is a bit more comfortable than the Hermes mattes.
Hi Lexi . Uh i waited on this review😜 I love how they look. They matte but not dry looking. I think it could be nice to wear just as a stain, i like how it looks with your smokey eye makeup. am interested in these. Really looks like they have interesting texture. My choice would be living nude and falling for nude. I think they both more warm toned ones . I will definitely going to get them at some point 🤔😜 Have a blessed day 🙏🧡

have you found any info on what the 'A' means vs the 'R'? obvs the r is refillable but I can't figure out what the A means. i'm obsessed with the valentino makeup collection and thanks for doing all the nudes! i've just picked my colors randomly (I have five) so it's nice to see these
I'm also really excited for you to try the blushes, and the eyeshadow. i was worried they would be v pigmented but they're so amazing. smooth velvet w plenty of pigment, easy to pick up w a brush.
I don't think the R means refillable since they are all refillable. I have a feeling the R and A have something to do with the undertones but I need to get more shades to see if I'm right. I haven't seen any information about the letters.
I can't wait to try them! I will definitely be picking some items up from the Sephora sale in April. If you have any particular recs, please let me know.
