i love how much recognition this song has gotten. Miracle of Sound has been a favorite of mine for years and im so glad they are finally getting recognition they deserve.
@@willmfrank no, but in the dozens of others he has done with this song he has given recognition. pretty sure at this point almost everyone knows who actually sings the song and if people see this and are curious on the full song Miracle of Sound will be right at the top of the results
@@Luis-ww1kxof course we did! "No, leaveth eur cheurch en eur Gould aloune" ,it means "sure, help yourself and bring all the girls and gold you want."
This is the best song I have ever heard. I like it a lot because it shows the heart that the Vikings had at the time of battle and it transports me to that time. I like to listen to all your songs a lot.
@@NickLongFilmmaking I think they were the extras from the "God of war" video Peyton Parrish did with Saltatio Mortis (a German folk metal band) some time ago. I know they are dedicated cosplayers but I am not so sure whether all of them might have wanted to sing...
Oh, there once was a hero named Ragnar the Red Who came riding to Whiterun from ole Rorikstead And the braggart did swagger and brandish his blade As he told of bold battles and gold he had made But then he went quiet, did Ragnar the Red When he met the shieldmaiden Matilda who said Oh, you talk and you lie and you drink all our mead Now I think it's high time that you lie down and bleed And so then came clashing and slashing of steel As the brave lass Matilda charged in full of zeal And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no more When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no more When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor
@@lucilaiturraspe7585 "he asks him to stop singing it" then why do they keep uploading themselves singing it together? Where are you getting this information that he doesn't want him singing it when he himself sings it with him too.
Someone forgot to credit the original creator of the song again. If Gavins work is good enough for you to use so extensively than using his name shouldn't be a problem
I'm sure Gavin, who has collabed with Peyton on multiple occasions on this song, and absolutely adores everything they've done with it together, would just say something himself if he minded.
@charmikyu2156 Gav is "so thrilled " he's asked multiple times for this dude to QUIT using his song without permission or to at least acknowledge that Miracle Of Sound (Gav) IS THE ORIGINAL ARTIST, NOT PARRISH!!
Hey Peyton, show these vikings that you have some honour and give credits to the original author of this song - Miracle of Sound. Man without honour is not man at all.
Pfftbfuck miracle of sound Gavin a whiney little bitch and always has been this song never would have left mediocrity like all of Gavin other songs without peyton
Since Peyton can't be assed to credit the artist who wrote this song on this short anywhere - it is by Miracle of Sound. Not Peyton, who seems to be trying to appropriate it.
no offense but the only reason this song rose to fame was Payton even the main singer with miracle of sound has admitted this fact of the matter is that without Payton it would have been just another song nobody had heard off in other words he is the song
@@FokiHun shoe me physical evidence aka copy right that this song belongs to Gavin oh wait u can't because it doesn't exist further more by ur argument most people in the world should be arrested for having the audacity to sing a song in the car at home or at a karaokes bar so ur argument is actually quite retarded
@@jdcrowell8596 well, maybe for some people. I never heard of peyton before his collaboration with miracle of sound and to be honest - imho it sounds better without peyton. Miracle of sound did a great job with this song and other songs before that too. Peyton should at least give credits to miracle of sound. Not doing that is just a d*ck move.
Peyton, I know you are unlikely to read my message, but I will write. Your talent, voice, delivery really deserves praise and respect, I've been listening to you for 2 years since you and Gav sang Valhalla Calling together. But there's a problem here. You have become very openly and arrogantly stealing and appropriating his song without asking him, you don't mention his name and part of the population doesn't realize it. You should realize how low and unfair it is to treat a person with whom you have business and friendly relations in such a way. There is nothing wrong to sing someone's songs in public, but brazenly omitting the author's name, causing psychological and mental distress and misleading people is another matter. Do you think the real Vikings were also dishonest with their friends and enemies? I'm saying this because I don't want your duo to break up like this, just don't do it, understand that, apologize to Gave and stop singing his song, please. Think about what you've done and make the right conclusion to this whole situation that you've created.
And yet nobody gives a shit wanna know why cause Gavin a bitch who can't accept that the only reason most of his songs succeed is the singers he collars with not him most of the songs he sings solo suck and it's because he literally can not sing without electronic voice modulation or did u honestly believe that he uses his actual voice
@@LiamMeme-xv4kl Nice copyright infringement, you mean. Gavin (the original author of the song who holds the rights to it) has asked Peyton multiple times to not sing it live or online without crediting him. Peyton keeps ignoring that.
It's a song about a videogame about vikings, it was made with the intention to evoke that feel. What MoS said is that it's not some ancient viking song or melody, it's completely original done by him and quite modern actually and shouldn't be taken as an example of some ancient viking music.
Not to be the "Well, actually" guy or anything, but... Well, actually this IS a song about Vikings; Gavin Dunne has said that this is not a Viking song, meaning that it was not written by old Norse Vikings, but by a twenty-first century Irishman.
It's badass except for the reality of clothes trust me that song would have made past Vikings proud. Those of us with Viking blood are proud of his singing
@@itsmesiloe You are talking about mr Gavin Dunne as Miracle Of Sound as most people know him..will you allow me to say that mr Peyton Parrish has already mentioned the songwriter (that's how I learned him too) and yes he is incredible too..thank you🙏
@@itsmesiloe well, before i start singing the song on the road, at home wherever i'll say to myself songwritter Gav(S of M) song Peyton/Gav, com on🙂 its just a spontaneous acappella short version here.. dont be sorry, already the people knows, thanks mr Parrish, as you see, i already knew it..thank you🙏
@@Efi_Fol unfortunately most of the people don't know, that MoS wrote this song. They think it's an old nordic song or peyton wrote it. Both is wrong. And to credit him in EACH cover video means that he gets some money for each cover. Each cover which isn't credited steals him that what he deserves and from what he lives. And that is not ok. And there are many people covering this song without crediting Gav....
Жалко что им ещё никто не сказал,что викингов которых они изображают никогда не было(как в фильмах и книжках) А были обычные князьки как и во всей Европе.
The fact he’s willing to get all these people together and do this it’s just awesome none of them are getting paid just like minded people doing what they love
I think they were around because they did another video together - "God of War", and this was just something they did in between or after the shooting of the other video.
This might be the most socially awkward/tone deaf music video. You have these amazing costumes for the background actors but instead of having the sing or maybe set up a bar scene and having the singer walk amongst the drinking patrons towards the camera. They just stand there looking for a que that never came.
My father and his father's were all Norseman. The first time I heard this song, my vibration rose to a level I haven't felt since I was in US Marine Corps, 30 yes ago. I am the decendant of the Greatest Warriors to have romed the earth. Proud doesn't begin the feeling I get when I hear this Perfect Song.

The vikings were well known for spending several hours a day getting their hair styled, applying makeup, adding new tattoos, adding a piercing or two, body sculpting, and selecting their most fabulous outfits to show how fierce they were. Then they would sing in deep rasping voices so they wouldn't be confused with the pirates of Penzance.
