Ok so after adding the chapters to this video i noticed some of the build missing, so my editing skills while half asleep suck :), sorry guys I will fix this, the front building footage appears to be missing, I will keep this video up so if you want to build you can get started, Thanks for watching guys appreciate it. UPDATE: Ok so it turns out I did not even record the last part of this Build, because I am apparently no good at stuff when feeling sleepy, so lesson learned, no more building when I been working 12 hrs, really sorry guys hope if you going to do this build you can figure out the last bit, any questions leave a comment and I will try my best to answer them :) Thanks ZOM!!
hey big ask, any chance i could get a world download of this? was building it myself and didnt realize until half way through that you didnt finish recording it lol.
Though regrettable that the footage is lost. I'm guessing the corners are the same as before, You've built a basic floor pathway across the front entrance and the stair case juts out from the 2x2 thats connected to the front door. My personal preference is instead of Log pillars i was using the tar'd Darkwood poles to add to the aesthetics of the stone/tar roofing. It looks like a really nice Trim to the entire place.
Good Viking! Thanks to your ideas, we, who could not build anything better than a public shed, now have a village, an island with a tower and a castle. And now we have something to do on the weekend again) Thank you for the video!🔥
Thanks for showing this. Used is as a template on my survival run to build on an island, made it a little longer and narrower to fit in nicely while still being cool and functional.
I hate to be a backseat gamer, so please just delete this comment if its inappropriate. I have noticed in a few of your videos, that you struggle to hit the snap point on support beams going down to the ground (the staircase at the end of this video) - you get that weird middle distance to the ground, where the 1m beam is too short, and the 2m beam is too long and wont snap, so you have to place it manually. There are 3 great ways to deal with this problem: 1 is to pickaxe once on the ground, place the 2m beam wich will now snap, and use the hoe to flatten the ground again after. 2 is to snap the 1m beam leaving it floating just of the ground. Select the 2m beam and aim the cursor at the low 1m beam and move it down along until the 2m beam snaps into place. 3 get up close, zoom in camera and press X to sit for a lower angle, and you just might hit the snap point. I hope you can make sense of what im trying to say, and i hope it helps you - i love the build :D
Thankyou!!! I am sorry I did record the front of this build but I don't know what happened when editing and it been so long ago when I did this I no longer have the build on my seed or server,
I know this is kind of old but.. brother you kind of forgot the rest of the build video? It cuts from you building the sides to the base already fully finished?
yeah the front building footage is missing, only realised after I did the editing, this is what happens when you do a video when half asleep, i still have no idea what happened lol, but sorry it is missing hopefully if you build it you can figure it out just by looking at the showcase, any questions I will try to answer but like you say it is kind of an old build so I may have forgotten what I did :)
That's an insane cut 21 min in I think I'll start fully watching build videos before following along just to make sure i don't run into this again. Otherwise it's a great build.
Thankyou, and yeah the front part of the build is missing I do state that in the pinned comment, to this day I still have no clue what happened I might even take this build video down, we don't all read the comments I myself am the same, might be best just to remove it but hey thanks for watching.
This has plenty of room for going at things solo, room to expand into plains crafting with the extra rooms and such. Could even put in a Boar/ Wolf Pen in the court yard area, tilled patch for rotating crops, and even a portal or two if you are using them.
Sorry no longer have this build, and I am gutted that for some reason the full build was not in the video, still to this day I have no clue why when I was editing I never added the front part :( might do a rebuild of it though in the near future.
Do you have a rough estimate of how much stone and wood you used for this build so I have a vague idea of what I have to gather if I wanted to recreate this in my world? I've been looking for some sort of fortified base type structure for myself and my 5 friends and I'd like to try this! Thank you!
_Lord Slayer: ..De Fiend hath already Lost de Endgame ..for, building a base now, wouldst be impossible ..since de PLEBAGGES would ruin their chances of sieging us. because they lack the sufficiently "Within Range" ..Quality_ ✓
Wow I love this build. I just finished one of the starter builds and when I advance more in the game I am definitely going to build this. The courtyard is stunning and reminds me of winterfell from game of thrones
Man, i love this build! I am currently working on it on my server with some friends. Thank you for your hard work! The only sad part though is that you are skipping a large part of the building at the end, so i have no idea to complete it. Did you ever think about releasing the complete build? Pretty please..
your template is wrong, on the second catwalks after the circular section you have 4 long, doesnt work out like that based off your template, no big deal i just have it 1 shorter
