Valheim | Mountain Blacksmith and Tavern | Build Guide | Speedbuild 

This is STUNNING! I have spent countless hours on Valheim but am never satisfied with my builds. I'm going to try my darndest to reproduce this in even a basic way. THANK YOU for posting this!

Really gorgeous build! I love the dual-purpose split-level aspect to it, the outbuildings and landscaping, and the stairs came out wonderfully. As far as mods go, for gameplay I tend to use a couple of QoL mods like Craft From Containers, Smart Containers, Clock, and Better Paths (to try and actually force myself to MAKE paths lol). A great building mod that Unknown Factions got me into using, is Better Creative - you can place any game asses from the build hammer, there's no stamina drain or tool durability to worry about, and broken pieces don't drop materials to clean up. Super handy. I've been toying with the idea of doing a playthrough with stuff like Epic Loot and Valheim Legends...really changes the game so you're not playing 'Valheim' any more as much as a Valheim-themed Diablo-esque mashup, but honestly? I'd love that game to exist lol. I think it'd be fun.

God man, just watching you gives me so many ideas. I was searching around just to get inspiration for how to cap off the ends of my buildings and not just have them be flat and I certainly found it

I’ve used them all! 😂 recently I have done a play through with no mods. It never seems to fail though… once I hit comfortable levels in the mountains and have found and drained a tar pit, I end up jumping into creative mode and go crazy with my building. (Makes me feel better using the building materials knowing that I’ve at least gone out and found/farmed them) As far as the mods go, I enjoyed willybach’s hd texture for quite a while. I don’t currently have Valheim plus installed, but when I did I tried to just use the quality of life perks. Not as crazy of a life as you (wife and I only have fur babies 😂) but the full time job and schedule warrants the use of endless torch and fires! Other than that, I also like the automatic things where crafting, smelting, cooking etc. can pull and store from a nearby chest. Great video, I’m a big fan of starting with the deepest hole I can get to and building up from there. Love making basements. 😂

Very nice dude! I personally don't use mods.... I find what keeps me addicted to Valheim is the reward you get when you put time/effort in. Therefore I personally don't find myself having a want or use for mods.

I would love some survival builds. Love your voice over and hearing about your foster family!

Getting back to the basics with Basic. Great build, bud! Looking forward to jumping back in Valheim soon whenever the Mistlands update gets here.

I don't know how you plan ahead like you do. How you seem to be able to envisage the build beforehand. I need a nice flat surface and make it up as I go along. My builds come out OK but not as good as this.

Super cool build fellow Viking - Im new to doing builds, in Valheim - How do you remove your toolkid box and to go cinematic?

I don't use mods, but I do use creative mode to avoid the endless farming and generally in order to use items that are not available for decorating, like berry bushes, vines, small trees, rocks etc. I like to know that I'm always respecting the structural integrity of the game, and only using items that exist within the world. I also prefer the peace of mind of not risking anything that could get corrupted or broken with updates or such. I'm fine with watching videos where mods have been used, as long as they are very clear from the title onwards what they are using. I don't want to waste time watching someone build a ''gothic cathedral'' only to discover that 90% of the items used don't exist in game... fine if you enjoy it but if it's not something I could make too, I don't see the challenge or the fun.

well, i use valheim plus, but havent touched a thing when it comes to building, lol, i only touched the autofuels and deposits and the spawn range of enemies XD
