It's great to see someone still building, coming with new ideas for Valheim's builds. Your videos in particular are great - no talking, not 'intro' telling what's going to happen. You just get into the business and that's great.
I began the total rebuild of my main base today thinking it would look great when i finished it, then i saw your thumbnail for this video and then saw again the dumpster fire that is my house, lol
Love how you do this without using the fly mode. Shows real dedication and also how you set up your scaffolding for us players that play without devcommands.
Wow, that roof is a work of art. I was following along thinking where is he going with this...and then it all just came together. And that spiral staircase at the bottom...damn! Truly a beautiful and functional base. I love it. I've built on those tall rocks before but not like this, it's really awesome. Looking forward to the next one!
+1 - slightly related, early game I was digging out my first copper node & it was really deep with a huge circumference. Couldn't blow the node in one go no matter what I did so ended up with a ton of pieces in mid-air that I couldn't get to even by jumping from the top as some were far too small to land on & far too high from the base to ladder/stair up to. The fun I had building around the hole using the surrounding earth & copper itself - despite the massive extra time - was well worth that wasted time. I have no idea how to hover & I wouldn't want to. Trying to figure out how to get platforms up to and around these pieces so I could mine the ore was so fulfilling due to constant collapses due to only having basic wood pieces (no core/finewood or iron etc). I ended up with 186 copper ore out of way more hours than it should have taken but I counted it as an achievement once I cleared every bit. Not a bad haul from one node though I think. It looked like a huge construction site in the end & I was quite proud of it. I enclosed the whole outer perimeter & put in an entrance so I wouldn't fall into it if I ever ran by again lol 🤣
Been waiting for another one of these in a while now. So we have another awesome relaxing vid to watch and chill and remenice about the good old days on the Plains. It turned out much different than i expected, but even better than i had thought. Absolutely love this very fuunctional design. Almost like a Getaway on the Plains as well. Quite Secure too.
What an absolute work of art. Started watching your videos a few days ago and it's crazy to see how much more out of the box your builds are getting. The design with those offsets between floors and the spiral staircase are crazy, not to mention all the layers and depth you put into that roof. Absolutely stunning! Keep up doing what you're doing man, it's definitely working!
I really love this! Super creative to use the plains stones for a home. Super cool and might have to try to do this myself sometime! Btw what song is this! It sets the vibe uo for this build!!!
Do you have a source for any save files or plan builds of these. Its beautiful but by the time it finished my head hurt conceptualizing how many hours it'd take me. (40 or so I reckon)
Extraordinary builds. I have a question though. I notice you don't fly around when building (refreshing to see). Do you also gather all of the materials?
And here's me thinking my extended longhouse is cool (yeah, lazy I know) - nope, it's a shower of $hit now I saw your build. FFS, back to the drawing board 🤣
