Validating Your Entity in SAM.gov 

THIS IS A NIGHTMARE TRYING TO VALIDATE MY ENTITY. . THE HELP DESK IS WORTHLESS

So I'm not alone in this labyrinth after all . . . . . . that's something.

Validating an address is a nightmare. I have attempted to validate for months. EVS team does not accept calls, at least this is what the Help Desk said. I have sent my assumed name certficate too many times to count. EVS team continues to use the suite number on the 2nd address line. Regardless of how many times I have provided the assumed name certificate (which has not changed) It is insane. They use "Ste" for suite instead of "#" sign, and over and over it rejects the address!!! Help!!!! I have been trying months.

It continues to be a nightmare try to register for the unique ID. I'v spent over 20 hours over three days trying to get this done. I've been bounced from one help desk to the log-in desk and back again.

I'm just trying to update our entity and can't believe the nightmare nonsense of this agency!!!! Every year they change something!!!!

This has been awful. When you get an incident report you don't know what is missing and where to go to fix it. Please go back to DUNS number. This is an unbelievable waste of time. There is no one to talk to to help resolve issues. Please fix this process. It is maddening.

How do County agencies validate the Departments? The list for entity validation is geared towards profit/non-profit agencies. The FSD is difficult to work with when trying to get assistance.

this didn't help, I can't get into anything to validate my entity, it just keeps telling me I am already registered but then it says no entity found. this is so frustrating!!

Since I am registering a government agency what do I do for the tax question part of the registration. They do not pay taxes

The FSD Incidents page contains zero information of what needs to be added in order to progress our application. The EVS agents don't write anything or communicate in any way...

there'san assumption of a state of the process which never happens with the web... I have opened 3 incidents by now and I am unable to recognize/update my entitie

Trying to validate and I get a message that there are technical difficulties on the fed end - running out of time to get this done before expiration date - NOT HAPPY

I have tried more than 20 times to submit my documents and it never lets me go to the next step. The "next" button is grayed out. I have tried everything!!!!!

Is it possible to simplify the validation processes? It is currently overwhelming. It keeps telling me that UNI which is for United States code is incorrect.

Please have someone of average intelligence try to register an entity with no knowledge of the system and see where they get stalled. I agree with all of the other comments, it's very frustrating with the current instructions. Where is the "save my entry before final submit" button if we need to come back to the application? I felt like I had to start over to add information. I hope AI is not writing the instructions . . . .

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I have been trying to renew for days I have renewed every year since 2011 without any problems. It has kicked out every document I've submitted. Is there any number to talk to a person?

This validation process is incredibly and unnecessarily complex. Extremely frustrating and on-going. It is almost worthwhile to just forgo payment althogether and end this Kafkaesque procedure.

Judging by all the comments below, I don't feel alone. Went online to check and see what happened to my application because we missed a deadline for a grant opportunity waiting for this unique entity number. Where have all the normal people with common sense gone? oh well..... society's loss, needs cannot be fulfilled, catering to the scammers. There has to be another way to validate our existence.

This is unnecessarily convoluted. Why are state/federal orgs. soooo...clueless? Their must set aside funding for digital literacy😪

I cannot renew the entity registration because I have two entities with the same name. I don't need one and want to delete it. How do I do that?

Any update how to validate the entity faster? I keep and trying and go back to the same entering and creating another company.

good to know that i am not the only one...Our address never changed from last year, but how come they say our address does not match! This is to create a work for US Govt employee?

I provide information from IRS and Secretary of State and they still can't verify. So annoying

i totally agree its rely NIGHTMARE .There is even no email adders to contact, very long time to review, much more longer time to respond... I hope there is an effective way to communicate and solve any obstacles through a phone call or a quick reaction via email.

How long does it take them to review a validation request?

I couldn’t be more confused, disappointed and frustrated. Do you have a help desk where I could talk to a real person, that give real guidance and direction.

why can't we just mail in forms? I don't live in a perfect world atm.

Well, based on the raving reviews this has received, I don't think there is anything I can add. This process is a typical government run around process that ends up with one having to pay a consultant thousands of dollars to assist with a process that is supposed to be free. The Gub-ment.

What all is available?

This is the worst bureaucratic nightmare I have seen. There is no one to help you. You ask a question, they tell you that they cannot tell you the answer, and they treat you like you should how this mess works. Who's brilliant idea was it to switch from the D&B number????

This system is not meant of local government! Which leads me to believe that the system is broken and need to a complete rebuild. This video answer none of the issues I ran into. very unhelpful.

A total mess as a system, you need extraterrestrial skills to complete the steps, and once you complete it there is no index and clear guideline about the steps. Make it simple guys certified documentation files updated, uploaded on the system and details of the addresses and that's all.

Terrible process, confusing and TOO LONG

this site is waste of time, non profits those doing job of government agencies trying to serve communities those are not having such access are kept away by such hurdles, instead ask your staff to visit the entities on ground and support them complete process to make our nation more stronger and make sure tax dollars reach the true needy voiceless communities , adding staff and creating added empire of dictatorship under label of democracy by putting many laws is just game of stopping minorities and taking advantage of lack of process understanding, why would it be easy to help voters going at door step and making things simple ? because their vote gives you power as elected official to manipulate system, please make things easy and allow equal access by sending your staff to help working entities access to serve humanity. at least the will make America great nation as it should be for all. Shame
