This is great information. Thank you so much. My question is that if there is no comparable measurements to calculate the divergent and convergent validity. is there other way to measure the construct validity?

You can also see if a construct is correlated with a theoretical outcome. For example, does a measure of ability to learn correlate positively with how much a subject knows? Factor analysis can be useful to determine if there is a single factor that the scale measures.

For categorical variables (nominal and ordinal), is factor analysis or PCA better for construct validity? Thank you.

I'm not an expert in factor analysis vs. PCA, but I'd say to give the priority to factor analysis. See www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7883798/
