Rae had bought a house but for her mom tho, and I mean having a property in America IMO is such a hassle because squatter for example and other stuff too
Buying a home isn't cheap but it sure is better than renting a place every other year imo. It would be fun having them move to texas for more collabs with otk and more visits to the animal sanctuary 😅❤
Well moving from LA to NY is more expensive (assuming they are moving to NYC) so it's a lot harder to make that move. It's wayyy cheaper to rent in Texas and there's a bunch of streamers there.
She said she wanted to move to Japan and washington too lol. And she's building a set for her podcast in LA right now. I guess she can have fun collabing with the same 5 people in otk for 3 months.

It's her return stream, she and her friends just came back from Texas after collabing with OTK, so if she drops this b0mbshell in her come back stream saying she plans on moving and looking at houses in Texas, then she pretty much just farmed all of OTK's viewers who are lurking in her stream and drum up engagement for follows/subs. People here don't recognize the game even though they did this exact same thing with Tarik and NY for months and hyping up their love for New York LOL

Move to Texas!!! The most great thing about living in Texas is it’s exactly right smack in the middle of the United States… So, by plane, it’s an easy flight going either to the East Coast or West Coast… When I was working in the entertainment business back in the days, I would hop on a plane and go anywhere needed in the U.S., east, west, north, or other places in the southern regions, leave in the morning and I’d be right back at home in Texas at night. Plus, it’s half the price or dirt cheap departing out of Texas, rather than paying a hefty price tag flying from San Francisco or L.A. to New York or Miami then spending the whole day flying across America and all you want to do next is check into a hotel and sleep tiered from traveling all day. You waste TIME MONEY and STRENGTH departing out of California or New York. Valkyrae & her Roommates can depart Texas in the morning and do all their business in LA and be back home in Texas by night. Trust me, I do it all the time!
problem is living in LA is expensive they could easilly move to a nice area like lets say La Verne CA and have a great streamer home but then that would be like 40-60 min away from the la location I am assuming they are in since there a lots of nice areas in LA lol
As a Texan who doesn't live in Austin but has viewed apartments and homes for rent in Austin.... I thought they were expensive. If she's happily thinking about moving to Austin then I really want to know how much she's been having to pay every month.
Austin is the only major metro in America where home prices have fallen in the last year. It's still more expensive than the rest of Texas and other areas in the South but compared to LA it's at least 20-25% cheaper for rent if not more. Not to mention you know no income tax.

They always say this but it never happens lol. They were going to move to NY for awhile but that never happened. Rae won't move unless very particular people move with her, which won't happen.

As a Texan, there is not a lot of fun places here. In 3 months or so you will be bored. Sure it is not expensive as California but dude! It’s CALIFORNIA! Everything IS IN there! Despite being expensive most fun and entertaining things are at California.
Yeah I think it's a good time for them to move out of LA considering the taxes are high in the rent is high, in Texas would be a good place for them to move to and plus the streaming schedule would be a lot better for them. Rent and taxes will be much cheaper and a change in scenery and environment. What's not only that having better access to good and much more reliable internet for streaming. Quite frankly living in LA isn't worth it anymore for them.
its an easy decision to go from Cali to Texas, its such a much better place to live. Crime lower, prices lower, people are warmer...you think everything is in LA, but its all in TX too :)
Eh if you're a white guy sure it's an easy choice. I lived in the Houston area, I was there for 4 years for work, and it was the only time in my life where I personally experienced racism in person. Also property crime per capita is higher in TX, while they do have lower violent crime rates, they also have a significantly higher rate of rapes.
