I understand why y’all would feel bad for the girl, but this is a charity auction, not a pity party. All that matters is that the items sell at high prices to benefit the IDF. Everyone at the auction knew that, so it’s funny seeing all this drama-bait.
Exactly! I don't understand why people think because a fan bought a ticket to be there, that means they HAVE to get what they came for. It's a charity auction. The things being auctioned literally do not matter for anything other than the worth they're auctioned off for because that money goes to charity.
Yes the charity is important, but if streamers are just going to outbid fans then what’s the point of even opening it up to fans in the first place. At least if Rae had gotten the item the price still would have gone up and the person who wanted it the most would have gotten it
@@TheJjcczz I understand where you’re coming from, but there was no guarantee that the streamers would win. A lot of the items were won by fans, and the in house fans who paid 2k per spot were obviously well-off. They even had raffles for people that couldn’t spend a lot of money.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to find that girl and mail them to her. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they keep them. It sucks for the girl but they were able to raise way more money based on that bidding war.
i actually thought they would be so kind and give it to the girl who bought tickets to be there and was bidding she was an obvious fan of all of them 😅❤
@timftw6420 well yeah it sounds like a big waste of money but she was still willing to buy it for as much as she could I mean it went up to 2k when she Gave up.
All of u feeling bad for the girl gotta think it this way, first of all its a charity...now do u want to give 11 k to the poor and needy or do u want to give it to a girl who is willing to spend over 3000 dollars for a pair of shorts
I'm just surprised she needed her license when her passport is the most authentic personal ID to have. So, if you don't have one, you couldn't sign up to register? That's just weird?
I get that this is all for charity, but the whole point of bidding the streamer items was for fans to purchase them and have something they value while also donating the earnings to a good cause. Everything that was bought by the streamers is kind of a waste of a bid because I doubt they care about the items as much as a fan would since they are all friends. That’s like if my friends signed swim trunks and gave it to me, I honestly wouldn’t really care because their signature doesn’t have any value to me as someone I look up to would. If the the point of outbidding the viewers was to donate to the charity, then they could’ve just donated without being apart of the auction and let the fans get the items they really wanted that they bid for.
How do you know the streamers dont care about the item? They are literally content creators, I bet you will see them using the items for content creation soon. Also did you watch the show? Most of the items were not even won by streamers, there are VIPs and online bidders. Plus the raffle winners ( which is like half the donation items ) Also you're not thinking the business aspect of it. They can simply do a simple donation the way Connor did last time (marathon), but this time Connor decided to do auction theme because they want to increase visibility of IDF (the charity). The reason other creators are also there is also to make sure other streamer communities will also come watch
okay but would the the fun in that be? The whole entertainment value of auctions is to drive up the price as far as people are willing to go for comedic value. If streamers just flat donated, how entertaining would that have been? Not very. And the competitiveness drives the price up, thus more money for the charity. I guarantee, if the streamers weren't allowed to auction the way they did, it wouldn't have made nearly as much as it did I get it sucks for some of the fans but there were tons of instances of fans winning the bid. For gods sake, a fan outbid Ludwig on his own VESPA
Also think about the ones that got the most attention, most of them had significant bids mainly by creators and a story of why the creators wanted it. That’s what made it entertaining
Ppl were willing to spend like half thier bank accounts on those things, people who actually really really wanted it, just for someone with 10 maybe 100x the amount they they won the bid for to take it and literally give it back to the person who auctioned it basically for a joke💀
Im sorry but i dont xare about the girl at all. The whole thing was for charity. Its good that the shorts went that high. Who cares if this random fan girl gets some dudes shorts. Thats just weird.
The value wasn’t because he wore them (which he hardly wore them). The value was in the context of Sykkuno and among us and the signatures he had on those shorts.
@@kusanagisensei5987 context matters. Once again if the only reason you want it is because they wore, then obviously it’s weird no matter what. But if she wore it and it was signed by all her friends she became famous with, and someone bought because they spent the pandemic watching Rae and all of those creators, then no.
I saw Sykkuno's shorts auction item on Rae's stream, so seeing this was for shits and giggle to me. But there's a fucking mini war of Karl vs desperate fan. Sykkuno literally had merch, so the fan could also buy that. I get that the shorts had signatures from popular youtubers as well, but she lost the bidding. Rae and the others clearly state that it was for charity, so being sad and depressed over something as funny this is just ridiculous to me.
they all keep saying "it's for charity" but they just made the whole auction pointless and boring? lolol, it ended up being streamers just sharing their shit with each other and giving a few bucks to charity, what a pointless show... let regular people buy the stuff, and then if you care that much about the charity then donate to it outside of the auction
Watch the whole VOD first and identify how many streamers won at the auction. Mostly fans, VIPs and those at home won auction items and even an online fan outbid Ludwig for his own fcking VESPA at 14k. Stop yapping and watch the more or less 5 hr VOD
Ngl, karl needs to be humbled. He reasoned out its for charity. Bruh Rae already bid 10k. 10k to charity + giving 1 girl her wish is worth more than Karl's 11k.
@@khanhquach3336 well clearly he needs hos ears checked because connor literally asked the girl before the sykunno shorts appeared what item she wanted to win and she said she was waiting for the amongus shorts
@@wolfy3910 i mean.. it's an auction if she doesn't have enough money she will lose it. That's just how auction work especially when it's for charity so the more money the better. IF she want it sooooooo badly, she could find another way around it and asked the streamers for the shorts itself. After all it's just a swim trunk it's not THAT big of a deal.
@@wolfy3910why would you pity a fan than can't even bid higher?? It's an auction. If the item is worth 3k and you only have 3k then you will not get it for there are others who wanted teh item more and can outbid 3k. Karl's reasoning is understandable, he value the thought that sykkuno never wore that short for swimming and corpse's signature + he didn't even know Rae and Hasan planned to bid it at 10k max and give it to the fan since Karl is far back. It's a win-win for the charity and Karl.
It's for charity, you idiot..hasan's ego helped a needy person. If hasan didn't keep bidding higher and baiting, then everything would have sold for less charity money. Hasan is an angel for being active in bidding.
