Valkyria Chronicles 4 - Ch 7. A March in the Snow - Mountainous Retreat (A Rank Ace Killed 2 Turns) 

To those playing on ps4( this issue may affect some on PC as well), if you are having issues with your grenadiers not landing good shots when you aim directly at the target try aiming directly behind or in front of your target. Something with the hit boxes for grenadiers seems out of whack. I've had much better success when using this method.

Update: Damn, I finally cleared it. So I switched up the bullet with the Telescope for the + 50 range and it did the trick. Normally with that you wouldn't have enough damage but if you proc her Absolution potential (by getting close to Claude's tank) then there'd be enough. Jeez that was adorb as fck. Also I'm not quite good at driving the cactus you did so ended up only reach the stone arch in 2nd phase. In case you guys wonder how getting the cactus as far as he did was beneficial, it keeps your foot soldiers from eating a lot of grenadier shots from the top of the hill. Lol when I did the riley's turn in the 2nd phase I landed the head shot on Mr. Mash right on the first try and tried to SAVE that one but ended up clicking LOAD by mistakes. Ended up redo that one like 20 times or something watching either Riley eating grenadier shots on her way or simply miss the shot cuz Mr. Mash fucking dodged them. Lord you won't believe how my luck stinks playing this game. Anyway, the moral of the story is that you gonna need headshot to kill Mash, and make sure that you save (properly).

Thanks for this route! I was stuck for a month. I did take an extra turn because I kept missing the Ace (finally got him) but overall, great route.

Excellent walkthru of level. I noticed others are seeing mortar grenade issues too. I bet consoles have been tweaked

well I actually am having an issue. The grenadier was actually out of range for that first shot of Riley, so I'm wondering if they've patched that or something. Also I don't have the improved powder after clearing mission 6 and got the improved bullet instead. Now I'm switching to the telescope to see if it'd do the trick.

how did you have so many turns starting phase 2? i only had 9.

Man your squad and vehicles are more developed than normal, don't think u can reach those upgrades at that time of the game, or am i missing something ? ( Per example I can't board more than 2 people in my apc )
