That one was a real pain... gotta get the first grenagier before he fires (just barely tap the snow and then instantly target) as well as get that smoke just right. Getting the Cactus there is also a pain (a bit of luck). Great work as usual.
Aaaaaaaaand with that mission I have now gained my Valkyrian Chronicler achievement... Thank you Kyorisu for all the vids on the missions I just couldn't get those A's on. I might just go back and try to 100% VC 1 now
Thx a lot for the video. Very tricky to do this in 1 turn . The unorthodox strategies seem to work out. I'm just amazed nobody was guarding the base at the end . Most bases are guarded at the end so you can't capture easily.
so once you have the cactus next to the hafen you can use the ship guns to killl the sniper grenadier and the shocktroper making it a little easier to get the cactus to the point without losing ap
Good tip. It's been quite a while but my defacto style was to keep as much spare CP as possible (if any) for cockups if people are trying to copy it and something goes wrong.
@@Kyorisu the worst part with this one is the mortar fire basically killing your ap smart move using the reward at sniper i manged to get it on the 5th attempt i did want to use fortifying treads but I think it kills the movement you need with the squad f women
I barely managed to get through this, even with 2 Valkyrias on my side. I am amazed how you get this done in one turn, without any special characters. Kudos!
you made this look waaaaaay toooo easyyyy... and i used up all my turns and still didnt reach the top. for this, you earned my sub. tried your strategy atleast 20x.... i cant seem to kill the trooper with the cactus... ??? damage even when targeted on the head
how the f*** do you do this in one take? I have to save after every action and fail 20 times before the RNG sides with me =( and what's up with killing that tank with one bullet from kai? x_x
Did Minerva get thrown to the other side by that mortar hit? Things like this, and on maze-ish maps, it would have really helped if you had played with your minimap on.
The mortar destroys the snowdrift. You can see the destructible snow on the map with the red crosses. So just stand there and let an enemy lob a round at you to clear it.
This is great but for some reason my ship order bombardment doesn't reach the four snipers/grenadier part. The blue circle where you are allowed to use it cuts off pretty far before that point
sorry this is just too hard to do, it is really hard to avoid those grenadier mortar, but at least i can see the enemy location in advance lol, kill most of them on 3 turn eventually, thank you, it must took you a lot of tries finally do it on a single turn, hats off
I run things a few times and don't always use the best run to upload. As you can see Cactus takes a hit and I lose all my AP but it's not a huge deal unless you take another hit before popping through the Snow.
