In the area we also find various Roman bridges which do not envy the one in “Cangas de Onís” ( as it seems that this is the only one which is promoted in the principality of “Asturias”) the first of these is in “Puente de Arcu” in the “Pola de Laviana”, a village in which there is the fantastic “Descenso Folklórico de Laviana” Folkloric Descent from “Pola de Laviana”, an emblematic fiesta and declared of national tourist interest (look for it on youtube and you will hallucinate) or the National Competition of “Sotrondio” village, called “Competicion Nacional de Charangas de Sotrondio”. In addition the whole valley has various Roman and medieval watchtowers throughout the valley from the Collegiate Church of “La Colegiata de Santa Maria la Real” in “Tanes” next to the reservoir, the Villamorey Tower “La Torre de Villamorrey” in “Sobrescobio” village, the Dolmen of “Dolmen de La Campa L'Escañal”, “La Torre de La quintana y la casa de los Solís” in Ciaño Village, the hermitage of “El Carbayu” village...
