Oh wow!!! The ending spot of this video, where the little shelter is, that is the exact spot where my husband and I got married. Las Vegas Destination Weddings! Except in 2012, when we got married, the bathrooms were not there. It was in the middle of December when we were there and it had just rained the night before and all the rich colors came out in the rocks.
This was a fantastic hike. Such a beautiful, awesome place. Reminds me of Arches, without the arches, except for two small ones, although one was more like a small tunnel. I have a request, which you may not be able to fulfill, depending on how your camera situation is set up. When you pass by a particularly awesome place, which we can only get a hint at, is it possible that you can turn your camera to give us a better view? That would be really cool, if you could do it. Thank you for not including a soundtrack. As I was watching, I was beginning to get the feeling that you have some kind of TRAIL-RAY vision, as I'm sure I would have gotten lost, not being able to even see a trail as you as you traveled over bare rock and what appeared to be dry creek beds. I'm curious about the footsteps. Are they yours? Thanks again. This was great fun. The Southwest is such a beautiful place.
The footsteps are mine, not a special effects sound track. As for the turning and looking, I try to strike a balance of keeping an eye on the trail and seeing what we came for. There are several videos that have 360 companion videos that would allow the viewer to look wherever they want. This one has one that is yet to be published.
@@TreadmillTV My apologies about the footsteps. I was talking about an occasional pan to the left or right when something extra awesome shows up, not taking your eyes away from the trail, if that's possible. As I said, I don't know where your camera is in all this and whether or not it is permanently attached. Are you saying that you have a 360 view version of this hike, that, I'm assuming is similar to what google uses? Except that google isn't live, which, I'm assuming, yours is? Anyway, it was a great hike, except I missed a few places when you teleported. LOL This is the third one of yours I've watched, not remembering what the first one was, which was a long time ago when I first subscribed. Previously, I'd only seen pictures around the parking area of the Valley of Fire. This hike presented a whole new vision of the place. Thanks again.
