I have just been there. You can take bus from rishikesh (Rishikesh to Badrinath). Bus fair is 600-700. Govindghat is 30km before the Badrinath. Stay in Govindghat either in Hotel or Gurudwara. Hotel price is 2000-2500 for 2 people. Then next morning take a sharing taxi from Govindghat to Pulna ganv. Taxi fare is 50rs per person. Then start track from Pulna to Ghanghariya which will be 10 km tracking. Then stay in Ghanghariya, you can stay in hotel or Gurudwara. Hotel will take 2500 for 2 people. Food is very expensive because of hill area. Then next morning start tracking for Valley of flowers at 7:00 AM. Take the ticket 200 per person. Go as far as you can till 1:30 PM then return back. In the Valley there is no food stall so take your food with you. In the Valley you will witness waterfall, ice, snow, clouds, different plants and flowers, rivers, mountains, rain and what not. Its the true heaven on the earth.
@@prajuktamahakud2686 Timing is 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM from Rishikesh. You should get the bus as early as possible. Because in Rishikesh and Joshimath there will be long traffic. Its a 10hrs journey.

I am planning for August with my son. I'm above 62 & my son 25. We have no trekking experience, so is it possible for me go & visit Valley of flowers & hemkund
For the age 62 it will be difficult, because I am 56 year old ,and did this track on 1 st june 2024, and 2kilometres , between the track are very very difficult,so take palki from ganghria for that part,it is my personal opinion And before this have tracked a lot

I have heard that the best time to visit is last week of July to first two weeks of August (with full bloom of flowers). So I have thought of going. Are you guys up for it?
Please do not give wrong information, I have yesterday returned from this place. Please see exact detail that about this route: 1. Track from Purna to Govind Dham is 14 km and it is a very steep track. 2. Only JIO network is available in this area and that also come very rarely. 3. No ATM or Bank in this area, so keep cash in hand. 4. Plan before going as you could required horse for going up or down the track.
Hum hamare family ke sath West Bengal se agla September me Hemkund or Vally of flowers Jane ka plan banaya. Aap kuch din pehle waha se explore kar ke aaya. Please humko bata sakte hai, Ghangariya Gurudwara me tin din rahene ka anumoti mil sakta hai ? Kuki Hemkund or Vally of flowers Jane ke liye kom se kom tin din to lagta hai. Aap kuch information dete ho to humko upakar hoga. Dhanyabad.
@@debojyotighoshmazumder6043 first of all if you planning to visit Hemkund sahib and Valley of flower then you need two days for that, as in one day you can't cover both that mean in Ghangariya you have to stay 3 nights i.e 4 days, as first day you will reach Ghangariya by walk or other mean, except Helicopter it take time to reach from Govind Ghat to Ghangariya, second day you will go either Hemkund Sahib or Valley of flower as in both places you were asked to leave by 2 pm then third day you will go to next place i.e. Hemkund Sahib or Valley of flower, depending on which you not visited first day. Now option is yours, if you reach by 2-3 pm from the place you gone on third day, you can start maximum by 4 pm from Ghangariya to Govind Ghat that take you maximum 4-5 hours if you walk otherwise it is just 3 hours by horse. Second, room in Gurudwara is all depend on the availability, if room available they will give you, if not then nearby lots of hotels are their, they charge depend on rush at the time of the visit i.e. 800/- to 8000/-. Third, plan for in hand money as you not have any ATM or Bank their and if you take horse or pithu for travel that add to the cost of expenses.
