I called TT News, and I also called the police department to attempt to submit this as evidence that the police officer was not at fault… the first car had their lights on but the vehicle he struck the Subaru didn’t have their lights on at almost 8:06 PM when sunset was about 7:38 PM.
@@bobbyd6680 No way was the cop found at fault for too many reasons. 1. Cops will always find a reason another cop is not at fault. 2. In this case, it's a good reason. Even if he wasn't a cop he would not be found at fault, as long as it is determined the other car didn't have their lights on. 3. This happens 3 days ago. It will take weeks maybe months for the final report to be finished.
when your one job is to drive around the city and protect people, who would find it hard to see a vehicle on a paved roadway? If he wasn't distracted by his phone or laptop, he would have had no problem. you just want to defend him because the blue line media made up your mind for you
@@FartInYourFace234 Yep. He still would have easily seen the approaching vehicle at those low speeds if he was paying attention. Nothing wrong with both bearing the blame.
I don't know why the US doesn't have daytime running lights. Even if you forget to turn on the headlights at least there is some sort of light. Makes it easy to spot American cars in Canada lol
I had a cop Ram my back bumper when I was pulling out of my driveway and I was fined $400 for a scratch on the bumper ain't that about a b**** good thing those days are over with now and days everything is recorded and it's no longer my word against an officer's word it's his word against video footage
Before he hit this car it does have lights on. I don't know if he just turned them on but I watched it several times and there are lights on when it is hit.
Sorry! I have watched it many times and I must be seeing a glare from other cars or lights that make it look like he has very dim lights on. I know when he's driving before he gets there you cannot see any lights, so that must be it. I apologize and need new glasses I guess! Glad no one was seriously injured. @@eltonjohnfan100
Hi there! We really like your video and would love to include it on our social networks. Would that be okay with you? We'll make sure to give you full credit
Yes you can feature it! Just send me a link when you upload it! This happened on dibblee ave and Hague ave in Columbus Ohio. Chief called a 10-3 afterwards. He was checked out at the scene and everyone was okay. Both cars totaled.
@@bobbyd6680 I’m sure he has a good defense in court when the video shows the other other driver didn’t have their lights on. And Ohio law requires you have your headlights on between Sunset and sunrise. Or when visibility is less than 1000 feet or when you turn on your windshield wipers when it’s raining. Plus I don’t think they had the video showing the other driver didn’t have their lights on…. It I’m sure they’ll see it online. The police chief can use it as evidence to prove that he was not in the wrong.
