Judging by the fact that it's probably a new map and not a new agent. It's probably referring to a secluded facility.

I could be 100% off here but when I saw that container go into the portal my first thought was ‘it’s a new protect the envoy game mode’, which I think would be sick. It might be unlikely because team death match just got released but it’s also possible because they might be trying to make the game more enjoyable for other demographics.

i think the map will be in los angeles cause the music video "ticking away " had secnes from a new map and its sunny there pluss the battlepass banner teaser

that would make sense too, look at the player card at the end of the battlepass, and the background of the accessories shop and the background of the night market. It all looks like somewhere in LA. Just a thought.

the location on the left also solidifies my map theory, could be a choke point into a bombsite or mid.

The logo on the containers is the kingdom logo, a corporation Brim used to work for, same with kj and viper. it feels like lorewise kingdom might be the secret spy for omega, that being the second world, explaining attackers and defenders. Omega and alpha are essentially mirrored worlds, where omega is a dictatorship and broken by especially what is climate change, being in need for radianite, a material gathered by stealing it from the alpha with the spike. Might explain why brimstone should be called, as he is still affiliated with kingdom and is in contact with them. In this case, kingdom is found to be evil, meaning this spoiler is HUGE lorewise, but not as much revealing to what the map is.

i think they always replace only 2 maps , replacing one with a new map and the other with a reworked old one (probably gonna be breeze replacing fracture since its been out of rotation longer and ascent / pearl replaced with the new map

Both were static and boring maps, not many possibilities for attack and defense both. Might be fun for a bit of change tho

they wont add new agent as new agent was just added there will be new duelist later in the year prob at begining of act 3

It’s Brimstone; go to brimstone’s office and listen to the voicemail. The entire lore right now is that Deadlock wants Gekko’s animals put into cages she designed cause they are “deadly” due to the Bear infused with radiniate that ripped her off arm. This Kingdom faculty is probably sending off more animals somewhere.

It won't. They release new character 4 months after previous one, every 2 acts. Also in current battlepass there's player card that looks just like a treaser for Lotus.
