Yo Lowlander the glitch you are talking about at 3:19 is when you have obs oppened up discord automatically puts streamers mod. Discord will show nicknames only if the person is renamed on the server. else if they are using their default name it will show the full nickname

just came to say this! I was weirded out the first time I saw it, you can change it so that even if you have streamer mode on you can see their names in full, go to "user settings" - "Streamer Mode" - and then uncheck "Hide Personal Information" and you will be able to see all the names again :)

btw the discord names being bugged out is because of OBS streamer mode. when discord used the hashtag and four numbers system, streamer mode would actually block the four numbers from showing to protect ur buddies' tags from leaking if they don't want their tag public. on the new display name and username system, if a user doesn't set their display name in their account settings, it'll display their username on any server lists. for these users, streamer mode will change their name to one letter and three dots, like "P..." or "B...". just make sure you have OBS closed, or disable streamer mode regularly by clicking on the purple button on the top of the screen whenever streamer mode is on.

Btw, for the trick at 4:56, about how you can make lineups with Vipers orb for deadlock mollies. You can actually use this trick with Killjoy's nanoswarms, Gekko's mosh pit, Kayo's fragment grenade, Harbor's cove and Raze's paintshells ( before they split into other grenades ). Basically, any throwable projectile that can be thrown underhanded ( which all the abilities above can do ), you can find lineups with Viper's orb trick.

The thing with the discord names, you have to turn off streamer mode, when you have OBS open, Discord will hide information like friends.

The reason why only some are zensored ist, because it will only zensor the names that are the same as the account name. So if someone changes their display name on your server it will not be zensored. Idk why they think this is of any use

Not much of a video worthy trick but a useful one: When playing against a Sage with ult, put a nano swarm on the enemy body, the one you feel will get resurrected. When she does res him, pop off the swarm. You can do heavy damage on both sage and might as well kill him again. 😂😂

3:10 that’s Streamer Mode kicking in. If you have OBS running, that will automatically enable. Only way to see full names again is to either disable Streamer mode or close your streaming software.

I have an idea but haven't put it to use yet, so i have no idea if it is even good. What if you used astra stars to cover gekkos wingman to let it plant on site. Astra can pick up the stars and create a path for wingman, and since wingman is smaller, enemies will have a hard time shooting it (same with neon walls as well or any smokes really). Then you can just play post plant with lineups and or just holding spike and get the win

The names occur because OBS (streaming software) is active and Discord enables streamer mode which Hides names.

for the name p... it's because discord detected that you're using streaming app ( like obs, etc...) so just either close streaming app, or turn off streaming mode in discord, and those name will be displayed as normal
