With the viper wall that pushes to b main, you can actually combine that with other utility aswell. Im a yoru main and I sent flashes towards b main, and teleported right as the viper was about to peak, I got a 3k the viper got a 2k, and because they were all blind I got 2 assists aswell.

You don’t need to counterstrafe, it’s actually only faster by a couple *milliseconds*, he just shot too early and missed the dead zone while peeking. Can happen even if you counterstrafe, because again, it’s not really any faster!

for the counterstrafe part, you dont need to press the opposite key to be accurate on that shot, it helps with your internal timing but not in game, you can just stop pressing the d or a key and youll be 100% accurate, the reason why they tell you to press the opposite key is because of CSGO, in csgo if you do that it helps a lot since your character slides a little bit when you do that and thats how you do strafing there, in valorant you just stop pressing the key and youll achieve the same result. try it in range you'll see

@@luckyman4389 ? I don’t understand what you mean. Valorants momentum system makes counter strafing makes little difference, it’s only “faster” by a few milliseconds. Unneeded except for maybe your own internal timing, but it’s easier to practice deady-peeking without it IMO (also ascendant 2)

It may not be an outplay but I was playing valorant on fracture when our instalock reyna disconnected early on, but just to late to remake. On defence, we went 3-11 (they are winning). However, when we got on attack our reyna reconnected and we just did the exact same execute 10 rounds in a row and won 13-11

Counter strafing is different in valorant than how it was in CSGO. You don’t need to tap the opposite direction key. The key to counter strafing/jiggle peeking in valo is taking advantage of the short period where your character is still before moving in the opposite direction. That’s when your bullet is most accurate

6:28 - *FALSE.* What you say is roughly how it works in CS:GO. In Val you gotta have your speed go down to 0, then shoot. Counter-strafing don't affect how fast you decelerate in a meaningful way. However, once you've fully decelerated, you're fully accurate even while you're accelerating, as in this clip.

the counter straf is not true, on valorant when you stop pressing the movement key your character stops imidiatly, on cs go you have some inertia and need to press the opposite movement key to be accurate when shoot

4:05, his happened to me one time. 1v4 situation on ascent. I had 30 hp, no util (not that it would matter because I was cypher) a spector, and a dream. they chased me down A tunnels leading to defenders spawn. I hid around the corner and started spraying to lay down suppressive fire. All 4 ran into it. All 4 died and we won the game.

6:33, counter strafing isn't in val... it comes from csgo however in val you can just stop holding the main direction key. In csgo you need to do it as when you move then stop you slide, this doesn't happen in val and should be avoided, just practice stopping in val and counter strafing in csgo. Btw he misses the timing with shooting qnd standing still resulting in the unaccurate bullet.
