Valravn at Cedar Point 

This is Valravn at Cedar Point. It is the worlds tallest (223ft), fastest (75mph), and longest (3,415ft) Dive Coaster. It opened here on May 7, 2016 and features three inversions with a 165ft tall Immelmann inversion right after the 214ft drop at a 90 degree angle. The other two inversions are a Dive Loop and an amazing zero-g roll which gives riders about 2 seconds of air time. Believe it or not, the Mercury stature has a long history at Cedar Point. George A. Boeckling who owned Cedar Point at the time, went to the 1904 Worlds Fair in St Louis where he bought the statue and many others, including the urns on the midway. Many of those statues were sold off to help with the war effort during WW2 but this one and the urns, remain at Cedar Point. A Valravn is a creature in Danish folklore that comes to life when Ravens eat the hearts of men that were slain in battle.
