One fund type that I can't figure out for tax loss harvesting is REITs. I have a REIT ETF in my taxable account that I want to sell for tax loss harvesting (USRT). I have no idea what would be close to a REIT that won't create a wash sale. Would, let's say a hotel REIT's be dissimilar to health care REIT's?
If one sells IWD (iShares Russell 1000 VALUE ETF) and buys IWF (iShares Russell 1000 GROWTH ETF) within 30 days, are they similar enough to trigger a wash sale?
