Tobias Carlisle is the founder of The Acquirer’s Multiple®, and Acquirers Funds®.

Prior to founding the forerunner to Acquirers Funds in 2010, Tobias was an analyst at an activist hedge fund, general counsel of a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, and a corporate advisory lawyer. As a lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions he has advised on transactions across a variety of industries in the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Australia, Singapore, Bermuda, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, and Guam.
He is a graduate of the University of Queensland in Australia with degrees in Law (2001) and Business (Management) (1999).

49:00 - Chamath Palihapitiya occasionally say smart things, and he often says something along those lines (it's something like "the time it takes a company to achieve solid market penetration is how long it'll take for that company to be disrupted/replaced").

What was the chart that showed how expensive growth is relative to value? I tried scanning through the podcast to see if I could find it, but it never showed on the thumbnail and I can't listen to the whole thing again just to find one chart!

Can someone here point me to content or literature that addresses how institutional investors develop a position in microcap companies? In particular, when the company is profitable and doesn't need or want a private placement at low SP where it would otherwise highly dilutive to sell shares in the business.
