You set the Antiques Roadshow to shame. You have by far. The very best knowledge of antiques antiquities. I do enjoy learning about thrift shop finds. ❤... You rock Dr Lori.
I am amazed every time I watch your videos about the new things I learn and the fun you have appraise thing them. Thanks so much for sharing this video and all the others.
@@life_is_beautiful03 Thanks for watching! Save and use the Binge link ru-vid.com/group/PL384695BCA1841B8F It plays my most recent videos first including the ones when I’m on other channels.
I found your videos about a year ago, yours is the only channel I have ever subscribed to. I was watching this one at work and almost came out of my chair. I learned a lot about silver, but seeing the blue dragon tea pot on the table was what I was waiting for. I have one just like that my father sent home from Japan while in WW2. I have taken it to a appraisal fair in Paducah KY, but they could not give me a price.
Hi Marie, Thanks for watching. Why are you taking pieces other places for appraisal :) I can help by looking at photos of your piece. Use the form on my website. The other pieces on that table could end up in a future video so you can keep watching too!
I absolutely LOVE YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SIMPLY AMAZING. THANK YOU. I WATCH EVERY VIDEO. I want to vacation to PA just so I can come and see you Dr. Lori THANK YOU
I've done many events in Boca over the years. Tell the local fair, festival, museum, home & garden expo to invite me back. That's how my events get booked.
Welcome Rose! I’ve got tons of videos with stories. A $20,000 item found in a storage locker, paintings found in the attic also worth 20k. Hope you enjoy :)
The Lord God has given you such wonderful gifts; you are amazing to watch! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. From what I learn so far from you, I passed by many, many treasures.😐
@@DrLoriV Indeed I will....I haven't a thing to be appraised but to see you "do your thing" would be great......You are almost like a native Lori and I suspect Italian and this combined with your fun and snarky comebacks is such a treat for this girl who "get's it".........hope to see you there...
Do you know if Bessie Potter Vonnoh ever did anything in silver? She is a sculptor who did bronze figurines around the turn of the century. She was a successful artist in her own right and was also married to famous impressionist Robert Vonnoh. I am interested because I believe my crappy turn of the century apartment was originally commissioned to be built by her husband the painter.
DR.LAURI,MY SISTER GOT IT ALLLL,HOUSES,CONTENTS,JEWELS.THE ONE WE DROVE TO REHAB EVERY YEAR.NOW SHE IS SELLING ALL BECAUSE SHE COULD NEVER MANAGE MONEY.I LOVE YOU.MWWWAAAAA

You scare me sometimes...lol u remind me of one of my art professor in college. She was awesome, talented, and she had an incredible amount of knowledge. She took me under her wing because she said, i was incredibly talented and didn't know it, and she was right. But she sort of yelled at me a lot and when she asked me a question i was scared to answer her incase i was wrong. 😳 You are that professor, but your awesome!😉😀
Yep, had that problem. I buy storage units and came across Tiffany and Co bracelet and necklace. Problem was, they were "dirty". They had the storage unit owners name engraved on both. Doh!
Can I remove someone's initials from a stirling vase with sandpaper finishing off with a high polish 🤔 or will that destroy its value 🤔 also the initials are of someone not famous 🤔
