Wetland, Our Amrit Dharohar
This video will make learners know the definition & characteristics of a wetland. They will also learn how wetlands are formed and the types of wetlands- high altitude, coastal, inland & mangroves. Distribution & extent of wetlands in India will also be introduced to the learners.

1. Beel in Assam, Northern india Taal, Western india Sarovar or Sagar, Paddy field etc 2.In India it came into force on 1st February 1982, under which wetlands of international importance are declared as Ramsar sites. 3.Ramsar Day celebration all over World is 2nd February.
