Big up vamp, never forget the days of seeing your pieces between West Norwood n gypsy hill. Yet another writer that got me into writing. Love the simplicity of your art.
King Vamp! Also I know everyone is now picking which writer they want to come on the show next.. but personally my vote goes for FUME DDS. Based on the interviews he's given in magazines over the years and briefly in the Underbelly documentary which was shelved, he seems like an intense guy who can really talk and tell a story.
@@wishworm123 i remember meeting him on the circle line back in summer 2003, he had a wholecar throwup thing rolling and he was inside it doing insides, had a little chat. met him again 10 years later and he still remembered me!
For me in my teen years in late 2000s early 2010's this guy was up. Proper looked up to this guys and his dubs. He would always have the maddest reaches with Enoy. Sometimes they would be like 15ft up! Sickest podcasts. Great to see all these certified writers.
love all the respect for nema! if he would ever share the pic's of the trains he's done! so many never been seen i'm sure. hope crel and nema are good! big up sterns
Years ago it was seeing VAMP as I rolled through limehouse on C2C that gave me confidence to try it myself. Big and bold and always stuck with me. I didn't know the ins and outs, who knocks about with who, I was never interested before now, this vid is the first I've seen of its type but somehow I always got the vibe this guy was on his own mission.
Big respect Vamp, even though you came along after those guys you still managed to become a legend good work. PS How do we watch part 2 of this I cant find it on your website?
So many lies chatted in this podcast. He was was a grunger/goth who used to ride his BMX around Sidcup and never rolled with Triads - His name Vamp came from his real name being associated with Vampire movies. My guy used to hang around Blackfen Girls School when he was in his 20s like a nonce. He used to get robbed and duppied by A.K.S on a regular... LOL
Grew up down the road from Vamp and went painting with him a number of times... We did tracks at 7pm one time with a step ladder with trains passing us every several minutes I was bricking it. Top bloke!
This is mad lol. I remember on halfway street he was sittin eatin a kebab in my cousins shop, i was writin aswell, i knew it was him "vamp" he kinda knew i wrote etc i walked passed him he said somethin funny and i smiled and sat down, i was hangin with the crews up vauxhall. It was the era of Graf! Good times. This guy smashed it tho. He came out the blue and was up...everywhere it was "vamp", man was killin it. There was "Area" as well it was mad we was all around but these guys moved apart from us. Sidcup, Eltham writers reached out them days lol.
The 2nd ever train i painted got put on a website running! The next page on the site was a 100 VAMP trains! After seeing that it was an addiction to have a 100 trains running. I done over 100 trains over the next few years, ALL in LONDON, before i realised VAMP and DFIE were travelling all country to hit them!!! Fuck sake haha. Thanks VAMP for fucking my life up haha. BIG UP. KING.
@@deandavis9051 I remember MASS, did you miss an S or is mas someone else? Known was everywhere in 96/7/8 time. Anyone remember Dred same time? South London coming in via Kent.
I remember when i was in primary school... and the REGRET dub on a hut just under the crystal palace tower in crystal palace. Thats mad you said that lol
