That does sound pretty awesome. any other tips? I was kinda disappointed to see that they only have like 5 vampire units none of which are infantry, They need a big old block of vampires on foot. $99 for 5 blood knights is wayyy too much.
@LesterWAR This is really important! We can't march with anything but models with the vampire rule once the general is dead! No marching bubble from regular vamps only the general (12" no boost by large target mounts)
I'm starting up a Vc army I'm gonna get a pack of guys tmrw just a basic unit my friends gonna get a group of guys too just to start playing n learning rules and what not , I don't know weather to get skeletons , zombies , or ghouls
Nevermind necromancer lords bring back liche lords, where's Nagash? where's Arkhan the black? looking pretty good though although you are right that the skeletons need more customization.
200 zombies wow, I don't think I have ever had that many units in any of my armies (I'm fairly indecisive) still wishing they had a unit of actual vampires other than blood knights.
$99 U.S. apparently its worse for the Australians and New Zealanders either way its too much. I feel I'll end up giving up on the Vampire counts because I'm stuck playing pretty much either skaven or dwarves.
@Themarkofnurgle Well, you need quite a few Core models, but there's no reason that you have to use any Zombies, and if you use no Zombies, then you don't need to have any "extra" models around for increasing the size of units beyond what they start at. You can gain this ability by taking a certain upgrade, but it's fine not to take it. IMO it is an overrated ability. And technically you *need* fewer Core now, if all your Core are Ghouls, because Ghouls got more expensive by 2 points per model.
