These are gorgeous. It could be that your darker colors weren't cured all the way through so the top coat wrinkled it. I sometimes triple cure, even my top coats, just to be sure. Especially for the thicker top coats.

I think it’s cause the tacky layer after it dries is where I’m struggling with

I actually think the mix of shapes looks ok. They turned out amazing! I used to get wrinkles when I applied the gel too thick. I’ve also learnt to double even triple the cure time of black as it’s so pigmented x x

Just found your channel! My name is Robin and I'm a nail tech. Did my first set of Acrylic in 1984! But I never got my lic. I started watching Y.T. and Natalie M., Femmi, Zulay, Emily Susanah and quite a few others, lol. They encouraged me to get my OLD Butt to school! And at 52 I got my license... Heyyy maybe this will be helpful so I’ve seen other techs (@nailsbykey or longghairprettynails) while doing aqua nails spread the dash nail glue longer than the full cover tip to give you like a extra lip to get the glitters in the nails then they file it off and create the stopper. Hopefully I explained that the best way for you to understand what it meant. 😅Hope this helps enter me 💚 Iamdope_nana
