This weekI install the platform bed and the Everbuilt 21" under mount drawer slides!!
I used 2x4 to 2x6 aluminum framing members to attach the 2x4s
I spaced the 2x4s roughly 15" apart and cut a notch in the front two 2x4s to hold the drawer slides
The table is made from walnut using keg pocket screws and wood glue

We kept finding we needed a folding table. This is so easy to store. ru-vid.comUgkxStL0QRChBju4aQlnTrRgBZvafFog0KU3 Opening and closing is easy as well. It has a great handle for carrying around the house. Its pretty lightweight and slides around easy. We bought it for our daughter’s first sleepover. Breakfast was a blur - but 12 7-8 year olds fit at the table with room to spare. We used it at thanksgiving and 6 adults fit comfortably on each side plus 2 on either end for a total of 8. Super easy to clean up afterwards as well.

IKEA has SKORVA metal, extendable bed beams that work fantastic for van bed applications like yours. They're relatively inexpensive and have available metal hangers (IMPRESA) for the ends making the job quick, easy and very strong. They also sell slats.

Hey love the video! I have a cord transit but was hoping to use the same bed frame idea you had! Just curious where exactly you put that 3/4 plywood on the end of the 2x6 board towards the rear in order to have the 2x4 sit flush! There wasn’t any video footage so I’m not sure what It’s supposed to look I like lol!

Nice Build. if your sitting in the bench seat and pull the table out your basically trapped until you remove what your eating or working with and close the table. Wondering if a lagun mount would be a better option as it could be swung out of the way.

Either way you'll be trapped. This way you can have the table stowed away when you're not using it as opposed to constantly needing to swivel it!

Great video. I’m wanting to use a power station vs the battery set up but need more information on how to complete the wiring to the power station especially for shore power. Do you have a video that covers more of the wiring for power station? I did see another one of you video’s explaining wiring solar panels but more guidance is needed for the 12 volt wire hook up. Great video. I am thinking of doing my own build. Do you think it would be possible, that instead of the table, make the bed be a choice between double or queen. Thinking that if you are solo, the extra space would be nice, but you can accommodate another person when needed.

I'm going to try your bed setup style, but because I do not want a fixed bed and I want to be able to have the isle going out the back doors clear when not in bed mode, I'm going to figure out how I can do some sort of split murphy bed where I can split the bed in half by folding it up 50/50 on either side #Head-scratcher🧐🤔

Yeah Murphy beds are sweet! I’d try to avoid the dinnette with the split cushions. Those seem very uncomfortable lol

@@AnkeneyVanBuilds I agree. I thought about that too. One trick I've seen people do to remedy that problem is having a triangular shaped pillow that fits plush in the gap to eliminate it. One of the most important things for me is getting a good night's rest. Especially in a van

Next time don’t use joist hangers on the end boards. Mount a block 1 1/2 inches in on the inside so you can screw directly into that.

Hey thanks so much for the video, I'm curious How high you made your bed frame in order to put the slide out table in? I’m looking at doing something similar, but not sure how much clearance I need in order to have a functioning dining space, I would love to know how much room you have when sitting on the bed, your seat height, bed frame height and table height :)

Have you had any issues with the riving knife on you rdgid table saw? The one on my Ridgid R4514 isn't completely in line with the blade, and there's not enough adjustment to center it properly.

It’s built for an RV Queen. Which is the width of a queen and length of a full. So 60”W X 75”L

Looks like a lot of wood in this van. What's the total weight of the van after everything is done? Promaster vans are known to have a bad transmission.

Cant remember the total weight when this one was completed but it was well within the cargo capacity for the van, and those bad transmissions are few and far between. theres a reason companies like UPS and Amazon all purchase these vans.

@@AnkeneyVanBuilds I know the van can handle the load. My interest was the total over all weight for math on the fuel economy. Having a weighted out van in the mountain's make things a challenge. I am curious to know like the weight of the wood added.
