Van Camping in Heavy Rain - Sleeping During a Thunderstorm 

A couple of nights ago a thunderstorm with heavy rain and frequent lightning flashes happened on the East coast of Florida. In addition NOAH weather gave out a Tornado Warning for my area from 12 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.! It was then a few minutes before 12 a.m. so with the heavy rain and frequent lightning flashes there really was no where to go! Even my cat was freaking out from the storm. So what I did was get in the front driver's seat of my van, and buckled myself in, until the Tornado Warning had pasted. My cat sat next to me very nervous so I kept petting her to calm her down. I figured that as long as I was buckled in to my van's driver's seat, I might have a chance with the tornado, similar to being in an auto accident. Fortunately the Tornado Warning had passed, the lightning flashes and rain moved out to sea, and in the morning it was sunny in the 70's!

I know it might seem weird that this is ten hours long even though it's meant to make you fall asleep in three minutes, but for people like me who wake up throughout the night it's very comforting to still be hearing the rain before falling asleep again.

Vou comprar uma barraca de camping e encontrar algum lugar seguro e de paz para passar os finais de semana. Uma inveja no bom sentido desse rapaz. Um belo vídeo que alegra o coração.

Bueno el que tira agua con la manguera durante la noche, pero mejor el que lo hace durante el día por el efecto superficie en el río. Para el limpiaparabrisas, que le tire con el rociador y que después corte esa parte así no hace ruido en seco. Al editor: no suena primero el trueno y después se ve el relámpago, es al revés. I have a pickup truck with canopy, considering car camping also. But I would likely spend quite a bit on DC power supply systems so I can turn on aircon and lightings without starting the car for the whole night.
