I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *suluxy* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me

The onyx is so classy and beautiful, and I think you made a great choice (and I thought it was going to be more expensive than what you shared so that’s great!)
@@Bird-d3q I would not recommend MOP if you plan to wear it directly on skin. It is a delicate stone that will dull and shrink if exposed to water. On a positive note if you find your stone has changed over time it can be replaced by VC&A for a small fee. I have done this and was very happy with results.

Congratulations on your first VCA! Just like you, I also started to get into Cartier and then VCA recently. I bought the sweet mop necklace first and then moved onto vintage mop necklace and the onyx mop. I love both stones since it matches everything. Mop is a lot more durable than people say (as long as you don’t get it wet) so I am planning to get the matching 5 motif bracelet soon. I think you will eventually want the bracelet also. It’s so addicting. I love the different stones so I think treating yourself once or twice a year is a great investment for self care. Also much cheaper than a Chanel purse. I tried stacking with other necklaces but they become so tangled that I am afraid to damage the chain. If you find a way to stack without getting tangled, please share.

It’s a beautiful design, lovely piece. I’d pick the all gold one, $1K only but looks a lot more expensive with the rays of the shine, and it’s made of all solid gold, no need to worry about losing the stone. It’s just a personal preference. Congratulations 🎈 Amber!
I own the gold pendent and it sparkles so much and I get compliments daily, people would stop me and request where I bought the necklace. When I went into the store I had my heat on the mother of pearl but once I took the picture to ask my husband (he could not join me the day of purchase) he immediately says no doubt to get the gold. When you do the math, if you lose the onyx pendent the cost of replacement is $280 and you see how it is with the gold?? The craftsmanship is amazing, the way it shines at every angle it’s not like the onyx at all. My next purchase would be the bracelet with the all gold flowers!! However, congrats on your purchase.

The onyx necklace was my first VCA piece years ago. It has held up beautifully! Quickly following was the sweet Alhambra earrings in onyx and 6 motif bracelet. I just got the gold guilloche necklace and they are gorgeous to layer. Next for me will be the 6 motif bracelet in gold guilloche!! Congrats Amber!! I love VCA it’s my favorite brand, onyx is the hardest stone of all and it’s beautiful. I believe the one you saw at the boutique wasn’t the turquoise but the blue agate stone I know because of own it 😉. Blue agate, onyx, carnelian and tiger eye are the hardest of all stones. Congrats again I love onyx it’s beautiful. I own several of their pieces and I loveeee them all!

I have the matching bracelet and LOVE it! 🖤🖤🖤 VCA salespeople can normally order the Alhambra items that you want if they don’t currently have them in stock. So, if that guilloché necklace would have sold out - and you decided later that you wanted it - they could order it for you. That’s what I’ve done for some of my more “rare” Alhambra pieces, including my 10-motif malachite Vintage Alhambra necklace.
If your sales person says that they can’t order something in for you, I’ve also had great success with ordering online. If something is out of stock online, you can call Customer Service and ask them to put you on a waitlist. (They will double-check inventory first to see if they can locate what you are looking for.) That is how I got all of my rose gold Sweet Alhambra items, including the 16-motif necklace.
I have the Sweet Alhambra mother-of-pearl and love of dainty she is. I've had it for about two years and so far so good. The Onxy is beautiful. Wear it well!
I have the mother of pearl purchased several years ago. I don’t baby it but I don’t wear it in the shower and I spray my perfume and make sure it’s dry before I put it on. It has zero wear and tear. It goes with everything! I also have the gold pendant in the large size with the long necklace that you can double up short or wear long. The onyx is beautiful. If you decide to purchase earrings, buy the gold to wear with the onyx don’t buy the matching…

Very pretty! I did not realize the vintage size was stable on the chain; that’s good to know. I had a sweet Alhambra and it drove me crazy that the clasp moved down so much and I had to keep adjusting it, so I ended up selling it.

Hello Amber🩷love your channel and content! Fabulous VCA piece 😍. I have the same one, have been wearing it for years. Did you know that VCA could add an extension to their pieces free of charge. I believe it’s 3 inches but it has to be done within 30 days off purchase or maybe 15 days. Get it done because then you could wear it two ways 🤗🤗
I bought my MOP one 3 years ago and have worn it every single day including to the gym (but never while in shower). It has zero wear and tear. Go with what you want and don’t worry what others say!
Honestly I mean that's cute . But they sell those same exact style in TJ Maxx for a fraction of the cost.I mean, onyx is honestly.It's cheap stone that was in style thirty years ago . I think you got ripped off.It's definitely not worth the money and it's tiny.
